New version is up. It would have been up earlier but it literally took all day for me to upload this file due to my browser closing..repeatedly. Essentially I've redone all the texture paths and organization to limit screw ups..or so I hope. As well the updated version includes 6 rugs and 13 new tapestries. Everything should be working correctly but to be honest I haven't tested them in game yet...After a day of working on these things I just wanted them to be finished.
I love these so much, Tlaffoon! Is there a hope you will port them to Skyrim SE? I have tried to use them in the new Creation Kit, but I can't get them to show up.
I don't think you need to run this through CK for it to port it to SE. You just have to optimize the NIFs in the meshe folder with https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/4089 There's no BSA to unpack and no plugin to run through CK. An easy conversion.
I noticed 3 small issues: 1) typo: normal map "Rug1n_.dds" 2) Did you intend to have the as-far-as-I-can-tell useless subdirectory "New Folder" in your texture paths? 3) 3 meshes each use one absolute, instead of relative, texture path: junktapestry.nif and unicornwithpoletapestry.nif each specify "C:\users\...\metalwork01_n.dds", and unicorntapestry2.nif specifies "C:\users\...\unicorn1k_n.dds".
I wasn't aware of any issues so thank you for reporting them.
Originally the 'New Folder" was just a temp file I had placed to divide a series of resources I'd made..just never thought to remove it. If i'm following your third point I believe I made a mistake and didn't remove the absolute texture path when preparing the file (I tend to overlook texture paths).
I can't promise I'll expand on this resource, as i hadn't planned too, however if I do these issues will be resolved..hopefully.
@Tlaffoon, yes if you want to upload something on Nexus its best to do it in the wee-hours of the night, I too have the same issue as you where I can never upload anything during those American evening hours, when they come online Nexus is out for me.
But I just wanted to thank you for these wonderful carpets, they are a great addition to my mod and I have also not experienced any issues with them, they are all just perfect in my book. Endorsed!
