Extremely well done. I enjoy having something more to do in the inns. One request or some help so I can do it myself, how do I add this to the Ragged Flagon or custom inn or tavern? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you again for a great mod!
It doesn't wok in the "Ragged Flagon"? Interesting...
For custom inn: 1) Make sure that inn's location has "LocTypeInn" keyword. 2) Make sure that at least one actor in that cell is in "JobInnkeeperFaction".
Example (Ragged Flagon) 1) RiftenRaggedFlagonLocation (FormID: 0002264A) needs to have "LocTypeInn" (FormID: 0001CB87) keyword. 2) Vekel the Man (FormID: 00013380) needs to be in JobInnkeeperFaction (FormID: 0005091B).
As of version 2.0.0, the mod no longer has one. Most of the settings you need can still be changed via the menu in the mini-game itself, though. You can download version 1.4.1, which the author was kind enough to leave up, which is the last one to have the MCM menu.
Personally, I prefer the MCM version because it makes the in-game menu less bulky. Other than that, the mechanics are basically identical. Just don't change between v1.4.1 and later versions mid-game (author's instruction). Hope that helps.
I don't know if you are still active on Nexus, but I'm leaving an endorsement here. This mod is a gem that I can only wish I had found sooner. The mechanics, the look of the playing area and the atmosphere it adds to taverns are all very well executed. The NPCs joining and leaving a game is an especially nice touch. Now I actually have a reason to visit taverns when entering towns, so thank you for making my game world a little more interesting. I might change my tune when my once-well off merchant turned gambler ends up on the streets penniless.
Is there a way to disable the music that plays during the blackjack game? I'm using an additional music mod that clashes a bit with this one.
Update: I realised that the mod is not to blame, but rather the default bard music (especially the flute tracks stick out in this case). Fixed with a mod that replaces those tracks. Thanks again for a great mod.
