It does save the enchantment, but not the type of clothing i.e. i made the yennefer armor be a cloth armor, rather than a light armor, to get the benefits from better oakflesh etc, but everytime i start the game the armor gets reverted to light armor. Any way to fix this?

I'm encountering the same problem. Changing a mod's heavy armor to light armor. Exiting to main menu and reloading the save shows the correct type of armor (heavy -> light). But restarting the game reverts it to heavy.

I've found out the issue. The issue is that this mod fails to save your changes if you only change the TYPE of armor. In this way, it'd only keep your changes for the current session (meaning the period when Skyrim itself is open).
To bypass this issue, you can change your armor type and then simply open and close the "armor rating" tab to save changes.
The reason this works is because this mod properly detects a change with ARMOR RATING, but not with ARMOR TYPE.

To prove this works, you can only open and change the type. Close the entire Equipment-State-Edit window. And then shift-return to see no new "Remove Record" tab or value at the bottom (seen in Author's picture).
However, changing the Rating would create a new 1/128, for instance, indicating a SAVED change.

I got it work on SE for the most parts.
ATM it cannot edit armor type and material, need the ReplaceKYWD func from DienesTools for that.
I am trying to build DienesTools for SE now but may not work at all.
I will test it for a few days and release it if it works.
