Great idea. Hope a player gets a fair amount of tusk dust for the size of the things. If I can ever get Skyrim running again on here I'll give this a shot. Pfft. Can't endorse for 24 hours. Gimme a PM tomorrow or whenever and I'll drop you an endorsement. Should add wheat n bones for CACO stuff. Bones for bonemeal. This could grow.
Its a good idea; I hope its a hard ingredient to obtain otherwise. The extra little bit of depth to Alchemy is totally free (hopefully). I'll be using it with the Complete Cooking and Alchemy Overhaul.
Not bad. For some reason the misconception that this is not lore friendly got around a while back. Due to what the breton dude says during the white Phial quest. In truth he needed them finely ground in a manner only Giants are capable of, not that human means couldn't grind them into dust, just not to the fine level that giants are able to do.
Maybe the Powdered Mammoth Tusk should have been named Crushed Mammoth Tusk instead. Then the whole thing would be lore friendly and fit along with what Quintus Navale says about the Mammoth Tusk Powder.
@Arndas - Anyways I like this idea and the mod is great. You have my endorsement!
Yeah, in a way that makes sense, but powdered mammoth tusk isn't that special. To me, it doesn't hold the same level of rarity as daedra hearts or red nirnroot. I understand the lore aspect, but I kinda just want a usable ingredient.
I'll give it an endorsement soon as Nexus stops being dumb. I already have a mod that adds this but this definitely should get some attention just so people who don't want a bunch of other stuff to a thing. You could also maybe add it as a much more common ingredient to be found in magic enemies pockets, pretty much the only place I've found them and only once every year, lol.

Also, this mod has the best number.
Thank you!
