UPDATE 1/17/2020: 83auron83 was kind enough to make a French translation of MAPS with a FOMOD installer, so there are 4K, 2K, and 1K textures to choose from in one simple download package.
UPDATE 7/30/2015: SkyrimFantom was kind enough to make the German text translation for the main map, so there's now an "Auf Deutsch" version in the "optional" downloads section.
UPDATE: I decided to add some "optimized" versions as well, for people who want to have the detail of the larger textures, but save on VRAM.
These optimized versions have the diffuse (color) textures saved in DXT1A compression (with a 1-Bit alpha) which allows the double layer texture to be the same file size as a single layer texture. The bigger the texture, the bigger the VRAM savings.
The only downside, is you get a rougher edge where the mask is, but the maps are torn and rough anyway, so it shouldn't be an issue for people.
I want to begin by saying the maps look gorgeous - and it comes from a lover of paper-textured maps ! So, in the same vein, which should not come as a surprise,I was wondering if you have had any idea or desire to work a world map version to replace the old 3D version ?
I know the Paper World Map does it (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25501/?), but yours look so good that it would be a great addition to any of your mod, maybe to work whit the other mod author or as addon here, on this mod page. It could be really great and immersive.
No matter what, I keep an eye on those and endorse
The map interface textures are very different than these maps. I'm frankly not sure how they are done, as they look more like blueprints, and are divided into multiple sections. I really wouldn't know how to adapt my textures to work with that layout.
I just want to come back and say this is phenomenal. I love the texture, the graphic of the map, the colour.. Everything. Thank you for making my game so, so awesome, Gamwichu-senpai!
I chiefly wanted to have a map that you could actually read in game as your character. Crazy idea, I know, but it's more immersive when I can play in 1st person and see the details you would in real life.
I haven't seen anyone identify them all for certain. The curved one is a bit like Viking, or Thor. The script style is Viner Hand ITC, but it's a paid font. I don't know of a free version that's similar.
I have Vinter Hand, if I can find the others, then I could make a German version, since that seems to be the main one people are asking for. There are a couple unique German characters that would have to be faked, since the font doesn't have them.... like the double S.
Edit..... No, Rundgotisch ins't right, but Cyrodill looks correct. I should be able to do it then.
I'll send you the psd file with all the layers of the names. I know you've more skills than me so maybe you can improve some parts. Another good idea I've seen in a german translation ... a compass. Well, check that picture.

Edit: And I really don't know how to make that sign/letter/? before "?4 E 182 ... Nataly ..." lol
Yes, I've looked at and there is not reference. What about encourage the people to provision it to you to publish it here? I know from Scharesoft they published language based textures.
I'm not against posting translations of the map, but I'm not going to chase after people to find them. I posted the blank map for people to do as they pleased. If they want to put another language version on Nexus, that's up to them.

Edit: Viner Hand ITC is right, but the other one ... Viking and Thor have no small letters. I asked in the WhatTheFont forum. HOPE !
Edit 2: Well, the other one is "Rundgotisch" and they want 10 bucks for it. ... Could be an expensive map. ^^
Btw, there are many "Rundgotisch" fonts, even for free. But that one we need is created by HiH.

Edit 3: Gosh, the other one is Cyrodiil
