Fixes bugged hand / menu visuals for Poison Cloak, Venom Spray and Shadows Embrace. Fixes Venom Spray being listed as an Illusion spell when benefiting from Destruction. Destruction Changes -
In SkyRe, fire spells deal more damage than either frost or shock spells. With this mod installed, fire spells cost 20% more magicka to cast than frost spells, and 10% more magicka to cast than shock spells as an additional counterbalance to encourage the use of frost and shock spells. Shock spells are more expensive than frost spells because shock spells have a shorter casting time with Skyrim Redone. Other changes include:
- Incinerate, Thunderbolt and Icy Lance are now simply more powerful spells with a longer cast time. Thunderbolt still drains twice as much magicka, and because of this costs more magicka to cast.
- Flame Cloak now also deals more damage than Frost / Shock cloaks and costs more magicka.
- Venom Spray is now correctly listed as a destruction spell and has Paralyze inventory model and hand visuals. It was previously listed incorrectly as an Illusion spell in the magic effect.
Other Changes -
- Clad in Shadows now has invisibility hand visuals and invisibility inventory model.
- Poison Cloak now has Paralyze inventory model and hand visuals instead of bugged spider spittle visuals.
- Shadow's Embrace now has invisibility inventory model instead of Falmer Tent. Yep.
- Phantom Image, Phantom Wound, Greater Phantom Wound, Veil of Illusion and Phantom Touch now use invisibility casting art and inventory models.
- Cloak of Angst now has Paralyze inventory model and hand visuals instead of bugged spider spittle visuals.
- Paralyze now lasts for 5s, from 3s and takes 0.8s to charge, from 0.5s to charge.
- Modified spell description of Greater Charm for brevity. Now you can actually read it.
- Arcane Dynamo, Arcane Generator, Waterbreathing and Waterwalking now use the green alteration hand visual for greater variety.
- Brainmelt now uses same hand visuals as other similar spells.
- Ebonyflesh now correctly displays that it can grant 20% fire resist instead of 220%.
Fixes / Changes Needed -
Here is a list of fixes or changes I would like to implement, but don't have the time or know how to do so. If you're able to, feel free to use this mod as a base to fix these issues.
- Venom Spray doesn't deal damage.
- Purgatory sometimes doesn't work.
- Curse of Infestation shouldn't affect dwarven machines, summons and ghosts.
- Poison Cloak and Venom Spray use set values instead of <mag> in their spell descriptions because <mag> doesn't work.
- I'd like to make Flame Cloak, Frost Cloak and Lightning Cloak give the player a 20% resistance to the associated element while active.
- Need to overwrite the vanilla book records so other mods that distribute books with vanilla spells that the player shouldn't receive will only distribute Skyrim Redone spells.
