I often post WIPs on tumblr, if anyone's actually curious.
Merging this and Witch with some cleanup of how I did things before. All future additions will be to that. New Dig Site-esque storage integrated into that.
The merge I was working on between this and WITCH is pretty much done, as well as adding in placeable shrines and follower-only tents. Only thing left is a conjured shelter I'm working on, so I hope it won't be too too long before that's done.

Perhaps I am missing something but is there supposed to be a menu option under Mod Configuration to change the layout inside the tents? Because I only have the regular campfire one and nothing in there about upgrading the dig site tents
Due to credits and permissions complexity (to ask perms to everybody), I think we'll only upload the esps (main + optionnals) and ask our members to replace the original files by the Fr ones. But in the description page (and readme), we will credit EVERYBODY, even if we don't share the files.
So I decided to start doing Frostfall, so I got all the mods to go with that that make it really awesome and then I saw this and I just couldn't resist, sadly when I go to place a tent from this mod the tent never shows up , just the thing that says place here. I've given ample time for a set up (20+ minutes lol) and still nothing. I am pretty sure this is on my end so if anyone has any idea how I can fix it please let me know. About to uninstall and reinstall and see if that works.
Yes. The tents from Campfire work fine. I've tried all tents that come with your mod, clicking on them and also just trying to drop them and nothing v.v.
Is it possible you're just missing meshes? Try redownloading? I haven't fired up Skyrim in awhile but it seems to be working for others so I don't think it's a universal problem.
Yeah I don't think it's a mod issue, I think it's more along the lines that I might be an idiot noob lol. I will try to uninstall and reinstall again and see if that works. How am I supposed to set up the tents anyways? Do I just click on them or do I drop them? I know some mods work differently, I am thinking I may possibly have a mod conflict going on. Thank you so much for the help, I really appreciate it and I will let you know if and when I get it working. Lol the tents are too pretty to just give up on.
Ok I figured they would work the same as Campfire, but since nothing happens I wasn't sure and wanted to double check. Thank you . I will do it after I finish cooking supper.
So I was thinking about it and it dawned on me, I can no longer see anything from the mod inside the game when creating or after....and then I realized I could before I did the coffee patch. I clicked replace each time, was I supposed to click merge instead?
Is there an option to use the large dark canvas tent without a coffin or does the coffin get added automatically when the tent is placed? I'm not a vampire, but I like the dark canvas tent because it feels like a compromise between the small Ashlander tent and the big Ashlander yurt - large enough for followers, but not so bulky that it would take 10 people to carry the camping gear for it.
Oh I'm definitely aware. I just really like the dark pavilion tent. No worries, though. I'll just use the large Ashlander tent. I really hope that you're still working on your Campfire gear (or anything, really). You're so good at it and make such great stuff. Please don't stop.
If you know anything about texture sets -- they're really easy to learn if not -- you can always just copy the black tent texture set onto the normal one. That's how I handled it, it's a shared mesh between the two.
I have a merge done of this and Witch that adds some new things as well, but I'm playing Fallout atm so no eta. Still needs a lot of polish. I do definitely plan to return to it though. Thanks so much for the kind words
If you're still looking for ideas, you may consider a scaled down version of the exterior of the Vardenfell ashlander hut. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59632/? The open air design is rather unique and the lanterns are very cool.
I always need a lot of time to place or pick up my tents from your mod. On the contrary, the basic tents from Campfire are very quickly moved and positioned. Is there anything I could do to make them faster?

If you mean will rain clip through visually, yes. Just like the regular Campfire tents, there's no solution to this currently.
If you're still having trouble later, I'll try to fire Skyrim up and test it myself to be sure.

Unfortunately I don't think there's a way around that beyond a computer upgrade =/
