I would like to play with this preset but for some reason when I download this and try to extract the files It asks me for a password, so I click OK whitout typing anything (cause I donĀ“t know if I have to) and the extraction seems to work. The thing is the .jslot file weights 0 KB and it does not work. Could you give me any solution?
I also tried to download it with the Nexus mod manager, however when I install the mod nothing happens, there is no preset of Scarlett
You need to have RaceMenu installed and load the preset from within racemenu's options. Not everyone's Scarlett is going to look exactly the same due to texture mods, meshes, etc. To get close to my screenshots, I recommend using Navetsea's Textures as linked on the description page.
Probably, if not, the most beautiful woman in the world in my opinion. After about six months off the Skyrim Modding grid, I come back to start building another mod list to play and I was looking for a preset to use to start off my character customization. I came across yours on the first page of my search and I was shocked. It is so close, the closest, I have seen anyone get to her! Ofcourse, it is all about the little shapes that can make the difference with makeup mods, normal maps, etc. I submitted an image of my character using the preset. I didn't have to change anything with the shape, but I did change the eye color and raised the eyes up (only did that because my character didn't look right and it may have been the previous shape/setting I had on). The lips don't look the shape, not as defined but that is most likely to do with the SG Normal map and lipstick overlay that I am using.
Picture added! Yeah, having different normal maps and textures will always make a difference, but the general shape of the preset should at least get most people pretty close. Thanks for the great feedback and the amazing picture!
My pleasure! If you really want to make her look even more like Scarlette, I can give you a few more suggestions.
The columella part of the nose is too low/at a steep angle. If you use the Sculpt tool to push the bottom part of this up a bit, it would look better like you can see in this side shot below. The top of the bridge could be pushed in slightly, and most of the time her eyelids are more closed. The eye position by default of Skyrim was correct, her real facial features can make her eyes appear lower but that is because her nose is actually short, but bolder. Anyway, to be honest, what you have is perfect for me. Like I said, I didn't have to change anything except the eye position only because it made the face look too small (not long enough) for the setup I have going. I do not like her "Miley Cyrus" style haircut, glad you changed that! lol
Oi, that's actually been my biggest peeve the entire time I have been sculpting her face. The head mesh just won't separate the septum and nostrils correctly, since the model is one connected part. If anyone is successful in sculpting this feature, I'd love to give them this preset and endorse theirs instead, haha.
I know exactly what you mean, the nose is the worse part to try and sculpt because the tool doesn't mirror it correctly. Last time I was messing with sculpting in RaceMenu, I was tempted to just do it in a 3D Sculpting program, but if you like I can grab the updated version and try to do it and send it back. I am sure it won't happen the way I am hoping since it isn't the easiest tool to use for mirroring changes live.
I think I got it, the different skins that we use may give different results as I tried to match the nostril areas up and I pulled the inner nostril down so it won't have that hard edge look, letting the shading of the skin give the look. I also pushed in the top of her nose in the brow area and made sure the brow layer was above the face layer so tats or anything else in that area won't go beneath the skin.
Best I could do! I like the results but again, may vary with the difference skins and lighting. Ignore the long eyelashes, I don't know why they are so long, I do have the eyelash mod but importing the preset made them pretty long
The best i have seen so far, but the features of her face as in cheeks and chin are a little sharp her head may need to be smaller, but other than that great job!!
The wretched nexus will not let me endorse your mod. Something about having to wait 15 minutes. I shall wait. And endorse. But in the meantime, let me say that this is a special mod. There are so many "pretty" faces out there. Your mod has that extra something. I don't know what it is. But this mod has it. It just does. So I shall wait for 15 minutes and endorse. But my real endorsement is this comment.
You don't how much that means to me. After spending so much time (and more to come) on just a facial sculpt, I greatly appreciate those who make full follower mods and plan to be less quiet in the future about telling them how much I appreciate their work.
You can try the high poly CITRUS head standalone for better sculpting with Racemenu. It helps tremendously with avoiding deformation. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58989/?
Using it won't prevent people from making a follower out of it because Racemenu can export CITRUS head in nif format and it's plug and play to your original shape in high poly instead of messing with matching mods with preset. Racemenu's author recommends using the nif export/import function under sculpt mode to share faces as well.
Yeah, I've been messing around with the chin sculpt. The way the head meshes are make it difficult to bring her chin forward without deforming her lips, but I'll get it.
