UPDATE 5/11/15: Added a new GORY AND CLEAN version that has separate textures for freshly killed dragons, and old dragon skeletons. Fresh kills are bloody and gory, while the long dead skeletons (or mounted skulls) are the clean version without the fleshy tendons.
Now, you have three choices, so I hope that satisfies people. I don't want to flog a dead dragon.
Yep, more of that rustic stuff....... post your comments, queries, and amusing anecdotes here.
Just remember to place the dragon corpse back in its burial mound when you're done playing with it.
You wouldn't want to be haunted by the spirit of a dead dragon..... Now, would you?
In Special Edition, the vanilla assets can't be loaded in blender. That, or it's quite the tedious process. This is why I'll be relying on oldrim assets. Thanks for this mod.
Hello alltogether, I am using lots of Rustic textures, all worked fine. Very well made, great look, i dont feel to much perfomance loss on a weak 1gb Vram card. Changing lots of lil replacers here and there, i have without the Rustic stuff (has an own Mix ~100Mb) around 600Mb replacers, and your skyrim looks different, new (newer, done such things with Morrowind, too). Enjoing this detailed world and textures like this are part of my standart mod-package (change the mods for a new character) that stay in. Oh yeah, btw.: i still play the 32bit version. So, now i want to thank you Gamwich, for this beautiful replacers. I like your work and will keep them, with a backup on mem stick (just in case)! Bye all
This mod works as is for me with Skyrim Special Edition.

Hi Gamwich, i always like your mods simply because it's amazingness. But being a low end laptop user, i must be very picky on taking which textures from your mods to suit my setup. That being said, you said that "The dragon skeleton is one of the largest objects in the game, so a 1K texture will just be a blurry mess." even though you have made your "Bethesda Performance Textures - Animals and Creatures" mod and i noticed you put 1K texture for dragon corpse for it. And it actually looks good in game, in my laptop resolution of course. So i just want to know how you explain it (maybe your opinion for 1K dragon corpse texture in your BPT mod) so that i'll know which one is definitely better for me (BPT or this mod).
These textures are more detailed than the BPT ones. Since dragons don't appear that often in gameplay, you should be able to use these textures without hurting your performance. Just use the 2K version.
Omg i love these retextures but.... i also love you character with the braided pigtails. Any chance of a save or a preset? I uses SG textures and normal maps and I play as a bosmer but this charactor is so cute!

I ask because all of the dragon bones scattered about in the Soul Cairn look horrible compared to the ones from this mod.

My setup is 8gb RAM with 2gb VRAM, if that helps
