Hands down in my opinion this is the BEST soul gem retexture/animation mod available. I have used Rustic Soul Gems and the awesome work from skysan on his soul gems with transparency.

I absolutely dig the parallax on these and it looks amazing adding a much needed touch of not only color but animation. This is a mod that actually immerses you in the environment while you're playing which is wholly unrelated to any landscape changes, armor or weapons, it simply adds a very beautiful overlay making these well worth finding again. It is just an amazing little token of beauty in a game that really needs it but only sparingly.
The colors in this are striking and match each other perfectly - the colors are extremely vibrant alongside the animation it really pops out when it shows up in a game menu. The animation is excellent and watching it sometimes nearly mesmerizes me - it is a very nice addition making dealing with certain merchants enjoyable again as well as opening chests or seeing them out as spoils early on.

Great mod. Looks great. Makes soul gems really beautiful and magical. This effect would look great on armor and weapons but not sure if possible. Thanks for your hard work.

All it does is prevent larger soul gems from absorbing smaller souls (Petty souls won't get absorbed by empty Grand Soul gems, for example). The above mod does not alter the appearance in any way & even forwards all fixes made to soul gems by USLEEP. Thanks.
This was overshadowed by rustic's soullgem since they came out a few week after and benefited from the rustic brand. The one point better with rustic is that you won't end up hoarding and not using them. These soul gem, are in my opinion a better addition to my game.
You ask permission first, always. What the heck, what kind of manner is this? The author could have decided to remove his mod in reaction, that was an un-necessary risk you've made us take.
+1! please bring this to SSE! does anyone know if this can be safely installed to SSE? i love this mod and the rustic series just doesn't look as good.
