Anyone having problems with the stairs at the throne, go to your skyrim folder data/meshes/architecture/sovengarde/sovngardinterior and delete the file sovintstairsfree02.nif
Hello everyone, i recently have a problem entering the undercroft, always ctd when i try to go in through every trapdoor available. tried it with the no npc version as well , tried to change load order , even tried with tesedit to find culprit ( always kept the original esp's of course ) but to no aveil, the crash keeps coming. Not a big deal in the end, because there is nothing of importance i left behind, but it's always nice to visit all the places when escaping from reality for a while. Anyone has a solution for this ?

UPDATE: problem solved, it was a replacer of the U shaped noble table, the mesh was corrupt and did both mistveil keep in riften and the castle undercroft ( the only 2 places with that specific table ) make crash to desktop ( the textures are fine and an improvement, so no total loss )
Hey Lazz I have to tell you really know how to make castle and mansions of congratulations. My pc is not very good I do not have little memory so 4gb and I have around 75 active mods runs well, but the big problem here is the doors, it ends my Ram memory. You wouldn't do a simple home for me, I want something with a bedroom just for me to my wife, another room for just 2 children and a room for just 3 followers, of course all separate and double bed without those bars above the cushion , I love these beds that you use for couples, those beds like the house in solitude I hate that dv put in mods .... if you can do that you are close to riverwood or near witruun, friend I would like to Help support you but I'm a little old already married and my income is very small, and I live in Brazil and I don't use credit card ... If I could support you with the greatest taste.
I have 40 or 50 followers all with HDT PE bodies, hair and clothing in Shadowstar and there are zero issues. That is with HDT PE, if you are using HDT SMP, that will be a problem. I can only use SMP with perhaps 3 followers at one time. Above 3 I lose about 10 fps per follower added that uses SMP. You haven't described what happens in your game so it is difficult to diagnose your problem. Good luck!
Are you using MHIYH and assigning guard duty to some of your npc's? If you are then that feature has always been bugged and the "guards" agro at the drop of a hat. Don't use that feature. I can't think of anything else unless you have npc's with Magic spells that cause area damage which hits both friend and foe and cause npcs to turn on each other.
After removing the trees in the front of the castle and renaming all the relevant containers, this has become my #1 favorite player home of all time. I've tried most of your other amazing mods too, thank you for all the great work!
P.S. Out of all the rooms, the one I like most is the kitchen.
Not sure if this mod will ever get any updates, but this is pretty much just an fyi for anyone who wants to use Legendary Cities alongside Shadowstar Castle:
I may have found a slight compatibility issue with Dunstad Grove and the Shadowstar Castle. In Dunstad Grove there is a large rip in the terrain on the Southern side of the hill in the town, and the terrain inside the Thane's castle covers up much of the doors and almost all of the clutter, as well as having a terrain issue where the stairs to enter the castle are floating off the ground's level meaning the player has to jump to get to them. I'm assuming it's a compatibility issue with Shadowstar Castle since the location of the player home is right next to Dunstad Grove, and no one else has reported any issue with the Terrain in that particular town on the original mod page. A compatibility patch may be necessary if you plan to use both.

The best part is how it comes with a huge display / library room.
my followers attack the castle's guard all the time, and then they attack each other, i don't know why
