This is something I've tweaked over time for myself, and a couple of other people liked. Nothing more than that. It's changed a lot over the months, so hopefully those folks like the release! More recent images I was too lazy to resize on tumblr.
WHY IS IT A BETA?
Because certain "specialty" weathers (think Sovngarde, Eclipse, Blackreach, etc.) don't have their special inis set up yet. They're already set up in my version and I'll tweak those as I run across them.
Amazing. Simply amazing preset with properly working night eye. My potato run it on ~40 fps and i personaly wouldn't use it but ill recomend it to others. Thank you for your work. Hope to see your presets for TesVI
I think I just found my new favourite ENB preset(Muse).
Some days ago I checked what else you have in your sleeve other than the Winterheart II Update and came across this one. Started with a new playthrough and must say I fell in love with this ENB immediately. The DOF is subtle and just right, shadows are deep yet soft, colours are not a saturated mess, it's a bit darker depending on the weather(which I just love) and weathers look amazing... This is pretty much everything I've ever wanted from an ENB in one package. Also lightweight on my end most part - no odd graphic glithches or anything either.
I put up some screenshots but I have a feeling they didn't catch everything in the moment. You got to see this ENB in action to appreciate it. ...Not that I've been screenshotting much anyway since been too busy playing and staring at the beautifully transitioning weathers and colours.
loving this enb!! but theres a really odd issue with the shadows where if i look at them from a certain angle they get darker or lighter and its kinda annoying. any way to fix it?
I am inclined to agree with other comments here. The shadows are incredibly dark, borderline pitch black. I did as you suggested Rusey and disabled Sky Lighting, it didn't make a bit of difference in many places. I think this is one of the best, if not the best running and looking preset in a while though, besides that little detail.
No chance to merge this enb with Enhanced Lights and FX? This preset is lovely, but I will be missing shaders and interior lightning from ELFX so much :C
Looks great, except the shadows are bit dark, in my opinion. Under trees, it's almost pitch black. I do like the color tones, though; reminds me of a more colorful Bleak ENB. Very nice.
I really like this ENB, but I too find shadows, and especially interiors still too dark even disabling skylighting. In your tweaking article, you mention editing variables under [ENVIRONMENT]. Could you please expand on that as I got overehelmed by the plethora of options to tweak ;-)
You could try raising Ambient Lighting Intensity (it's broken down by Interior/Exterior as well as times of day). Keep in mind it would need to be done for each weather ini.
You could also fiddle with tone-mapping in the enbeffect window (make sure "show shader window" is ticked in the GUI), which would only need to be done once, but you'd need to either trial and error that a little. On the plus side you can do that while playing so you can see exactly what's changing.
