How fast do horses run at in this game when they are running? Also, what do you mean by running?
And when you mean 'running' are you talking about when the stamina goes down\/ Cause if so that's not (The Horse) Running (speed), it's* (*The Horse) -it's sprinting (speed) animations/speed

loving this mod. however, i would prefer only the walking speed to be adjusted. otherwise everytime i want to run i literally go from one side on solitude to other in seconds, leaving my followers in my dust. not a very good thing.

now that ive uninstalled it my characters walking speed is normal....yet the running/jogging speed hasnt changed at all. i darted across morthal before my follower could take a step. not sure whats going on? will highly regret downloading this mod if it has screwed up my characters speeds.
    some help?

Did you change or plan to change vanilla walking speed while overencumbered and having a bow drawn? Drawing a bow while overencumbered actually increases your speed, when it should decrease it even more. I think the same goes for when you are sneaking while carrying too much to be able to run.

Does this change the PC speed to match the NPC speeds at all?

Seriously, why aren't the speeds the same for PC and NPC? Having to manage my movement just to stay next to a talking NPC feels terrible.

Speed depends on character's height as well so even if the movement value is the same for PC and NPC but say, NPC is taller than PC then PC is still moving at a speed slower than NPC.

Just to be sure and out of curiosity: ARE YOU SURE? If this is true I never heard about it or found evidence myself.

(in reply to derecs post about tallness and speed)

that one you can try yourself. target yourself in the console and type setscale X. 100 = normal, 50 = half as tall and half as fast, 200 = twice as tall and twice as fast.

Good on ya for trying to balance out the movements!

I had tried a suggestion over a year ago regarding the super human backward movement speed of NPCs while they were casting spells, but it didn't work. They still run backward while casting as fast as I can sprint forward. Is this one of the hard coded issues you ran into while developing this mod?

      Yea, it's the hard-coded issue.
Backward-left (AS) and backward-right (SD) uses the same speed variable as forward (W) :S

The way the Bethesda set it up is ridiculous.

Well, it is Bethesda after all. Their devs thought the flex modifier was a plugin for hair called Ornatrix and had no idea how a basic staple modifier of 3DS Max even functioned.

Maybe you should tone down backward movement speed as well. This mod makes you move too fast while walking backward. Otherwise great mod
