      i agree with GSmog, this would be extremely useful on SE. recently started using SE and i always had this in my LE playthroughs, was on my essential list

      It works on SE without any need to convert. Of course Vortex displays a warning message as incompatible plugin, but you can just ignore...

    I'd like to use this but it uses SkyUI which is broken an doesnt work right. if u make it without SkyUI then I'll try, sorry :(

    Can you make this mod create a new standalone copy of the item and change the slot to whatever I say? There was a mod that did this for Oldrim.

    Nice mod, but does not cover Devious Devices...

    I like to alter items for Frostfalls Warmth system, which is in Frostfalls MCM menu. Unfortunately, Frostfall, does not name the Devious Device items that are worn.
    Neither does this, Body Slots is a nice mod regardless of this problem.

    This is a nice idea. But it only covers a very small portion of the body slots now used by mods. Would it be possible to get an expansion that covers all slots up to 61, and lists for what is in each slot, even if that item uses two slots? (like most helmets that use head and hair)

    This is a VERY useful Mod. Especially the Body Slots when mixed with say bandoliers and pouches. Since there is overlap with several jewelry mods and circlet mods this helps wade through the details and decide which piece you really want to equip. I would recommend this mod for any play through.

    if you could somehow make it to allow to change slots for things like capes that use the tail slot that'd be awesome cuz I could finally use capes....

      I have no knowledge of the creation kit and chances are if I tried i'd mess all the things up...*insert all the things meme here*

      You can do that in the creation kit but it is difficult. You need to change more than just the slot ticks. I tried to change slots just by unchecking the boxes for one slot and instead add another slot several times but then the armor is not shown on your body anymore.

      yeah, it's not only creation kit, you may also need to change the .nif, or it may end up invisible.

      Exactly. Body slot changes need to be applied in the ESP/ESM that contains the item *and* in the item's NIF file (mesh) as well. Not something that is possible to do in-game.

      I can make a new page to change the slots but the problem is I don't know how to change the slot of the .nif file in game so you will see invisible items.

      There is no going around it. You must learn how to use Nifskope and go into the nif file and change the slots. There are several tutorials on the web teaching you how to do it, so I suggest anyone interested do what I did and learn how to use Nifskope.

      There are three big mods that I use that conflict with each other in terms of body slots: Become a Bard, CBBE Skimpy outfits, and zzjay wardrobes. Specifically, the Wanderer's Lute, the Huntress Sleeves, and most of the remodeled outfits from Skimpy mod use the same slot so things will often disappear. I had to open Nifskope and CK to change these slots (CBBE skimpy has too many things to change so I changed ard and zzJay mods instead.)

      Can you release that version? Editing nif files are easy for me. Going into CK is such a hassle.

      So I can change the slots with your mod and go into nif files to finalize the editing.

      All Geared Up has a function in the MCM to change some slots for certain weapons. It can help somewhat by moving weapons you dont have or use to different slots so bags will display, but its not a total solution: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40953/?

      It's much easier to do the changes through TES5edit, just to change the slot number to a different one.
