There are already several mods that add push spells similar to Unrelenting Force. However, I don't like any of them because they either have a cast time, which makes them difficult to use defensively, or the push effect they cause is far too powerful, knocking the target across the room or far into the air, which aside from being unbalanced looks silly and makes the game feel comical.

This is a much more reasonable version of the concept in my opinion. Telekinetic Shove is an instant cast spell that hits an enemy you aim it at with a blast of force, making them fall over backwards exactly as if you had given them a hard shove with your hands. It won't send anyone flying, you'll need to create the distance yourself in the time it takes them to stand back up. It also has a short range of about 6 feet, so your target will need to be up close and personal for it to work. It doesn't do damage. This is a defensive spell for briefly disabling melee attackers that get in your face so you can get away from them or hit them with another spell.
