This mod works perfectly for what is says, but the only problem I found is when I tried to uninstalled it, even deleting the mod and creating a new character, I was still able to open locks as if the mod was on, weird. But it works, thanks. I guess if I want to solve this it needs a reinstall of the game.
Sounds like you still have the files somehow installed, you should try to check that out. If you uninstall it will turn the game back to normal for sure, there's nothing here that would affect save games.
Oh yes, I deleted the mod but I still had AutoLockpickPlugin somewhere, I solved it. (I feel like a dummy) It's still a great mod, it's just that I wanted to lockpick again for a while, thank you for your answer
This is a nice addition to my Shadow mage Spellsword Breton. Since Shadow magic is at its basic manipulating probabilities, I'm just skipping the lockpicking process to get to the result.
I hate lockpicking. I have always hated lockpicking, but in Oblivion, you could use a spell. In Skyrim, I am reduced to ~unlock~. So thank you, meh321, for alleviating a frustration I've had since the game came out. I'd have found this sooner, but I kept looking for a "spell."
This is the best mod available for auto opening locks, and it works perfectly with mods that enable werewolf looting, so you can open chests in beast form.
Endorsed. Sir, this may be the greatest invention since the cheeseburger. I bet I've picked 10,000 locks in this game over the years. I'm done with the mini game.
