Please help me! I find Ranger's Retreat is badly positioned (it sunk/submerged in my case), I thought it was conflict from another mod like corner of Skyrim mod. But I don't install mod which occupy same space.
I'm so stupid for not putting 2 and 2 together. . .I have had and love Ebonvale, but forgot you were the modder of that one too. When I downloaded this one, I kept thinking, "Wow, this reminds me of Ebonvale." Then it hit me! Another masterpiece for sure. Your really need to provide a link in this description for Ebonvale so that everyone can have both!!!
Couple of things. . .in the Ranger's Retreat, Brant has no gold. He has a sales dialogue, but no money. Was this intended??? Secondly, when I walk into the inn, I see the tail of the Argoinian from upstairs waving back and forth through the ceiling on the first floor. Went in and out several times and still the same, there's that bodyless tail piercing the ceiling of the first floor.
Lastly, you have the "empty building" still to use, why not go ahead and make a house for the dragonborn? You made an excellent house in Ebonvale, so why not recreate the success in this one? Of course make it different than the one in Ebonvale. And in regards to the house, I never understood the reasoning behind having both the house and the suite in the inn. It seemed unnecessary to me to have both. So here, you could create the house, and just turn the room in the inn into a regular room. Just a thought.
Again, awesome job on this. You certainly always produce such quality work.
Hello, First I find your mod very cool and nice. But I can't fully appeciate it because I have a problem : some buildings are not appearing, only the doors are visible. It's the Ranger's retreat, the Scholar's Guild and Lotus and Candles.... I used some overhaul texture mods like Landscape winter overhaul , Noble Skyrim texture and Another Skyrim- Riften, do you think these can't conflict with your mod ?
I would surly say so, try disabling the "Another Skyrim Riften" mod, as all the buildings in Helsmyrr are of Riften origin. This should fix your issue.

ahh, thank you for the answers I needed. I love Ebonvale and when I found this I wanted it but then CTD everywhere and couldn't clean it no matter how often i snuck up on it. ahh well. I still have Ebonvale thanks again
I love this mod too. The issues are more with compatibility with the official DLC, than with the mod itself, there are NavMesh conflicts between the village and Redwater Den. I did try and contact the author to ask if I could build a player home here, and fix the DLC conflicts, but did not get a reply.
I will try and fix the issues myself, but it's not top of my list, and I have so many other projects to tend to.
I think the main reason it was removed because this mod does not play well with DLC, there are a ton of spawn markers that are clipping under the location, also a ton of Navmesh conflicts between Red Water Den and the village, I bet once the SSE author ran it through Xedit there were a crap ton of errors, and it scared them off lol I made a player home for this mod on LE, had a few issues but got there in the end, however once I rebuilt the player home in SSE I got all those errors and have been slowly fixing it since.
Looking directly up the cliff faces from the North and South sides reveals all kinds of open gaps under the big boulders you used to make the cliff walls with. The sky shows through them, because direction of polygon normals. Not a deal breaker though.
