This mod makes Meeko essential. If you find otherwise, you have a conflict and should use the setessential command to make him essential for your game.

I recommend KrittaKitty's True Wolves of Skyrim (or Grace Darkling's Texture Packs - Animals if using the Hound version) for best results.
No matter what I do, Meeko will look vanilla version of himself. It's not a problem with your mod because I've tried other mods as well. I simply can't change Meeko. Do you have any idea why?
The dog upper lips are too high and the teeth are too large, resulting in the dog looking aggressively-snarling when in rest mode, it looks odd to be honest. I even compared to the dawnguard huskies and they don't have this, or at least its not noticeable there, they also have the high upper lip, but the color of the lip and the mouth is the same so you don't notice that, but the main thing is the teeth on vanilla are smaller. Even though I love your fur texture, the mouth just isnt for me and kinda ruins it.
edit: I managed to fix the mouth on my game by using the dawnguard husky mesh and putting your texture on that, had some minor issues with the teeth and eyes but with some tinkering I like the end result:
Anyone knows how to silence dog barking? It is reeeeeeally annoying after a while and breaks immersion. I tried to mute Sound/dog/bark and Sound/fx/NPC/dog/bark files, but magically they barking anyways xd
