Born in Cheydinhal, Lee's name is indeed not a native Imperial name, it is a family name that has been passed down from his father's ancient ancestors. When Lee reached his teenaged years, his parents enrolled him into the Fighter's Guild to be trained there, today Lee Draconius, or Dragon Lee, as his friends (and opponents who have lost to him in duels) often call him, has become an expert Martial Artist, he's competed in many official and underground gladiator tournaments. Other than that, he lives his life teaching his craft to the youth of Tamriel. He also enjoys a harsh training regimen.

According to some veteran Fighter's Guild Members, although Lee was born in Cheydinhal and his mother was a native Imperial, his blood is not purely imperial, there are rumors of his father being a descendent of an Akavirii explorer who survived the Tsaesci invasion, because the explorer and his crew were in the middle of the ocean at time of the invasion's occurrence. At sea, an oracle on the crew shared with the explorer his vision, the scene of how a terrifying Tsaesci horde raided the explorer's hometown and left only rubble and corpses strewn about. Despite a mixed cocktail of sad, angry, and confused emotions, the explorer and his crew continued their 2500 mile expedition to the West. After being caught in terrible storm in the middle of the open sea, they luckily washed ashore on the Morrowind coast, but their ship was destroyed. They decided to retire, and blend into the natives of Tamriel in secret, leaving their lives in Akavir behind.

Recently, Lee has sought to improve his skill and knowledge and see the real combat himself in the war zone. He's also searching for new opportunities, friends, and opponents. So, in light of the civil war, Lee's headed to Skyrim to jump at the chance to prove himself in combat, and learn what he can. While on the trip to Solitude, he stopped at Four Shields Tavern, and a discussion about local legends with another customer, he was fascinated with the stories that the legendary Dovahkiin has arrived to Skyrim to fulfill his/her destiny, and, of course, after that, he set out meet the Dovahkiin. It is of the highest priority for Lee, he realizes if he could spend a time with the Dovahkiin, he would learn many things about dragons, which have close cultural relation to his Akavirii heritage.
