About this mod

This mod changes the look of the spellsword and mercenary, Belrand, to a more Nordic looking fellow rather than a creepy undertaker.

Hey Nexus world!

I have really been enjoying Skyrim's mods to their fullest extent after having some time off of work and school (Spring break rules!) and I would like to give something back to the mod community.

As previously stated, this mod gives Belrand, Solitude's mercenary and spellsword for hire, a much needed makeover. I originally couldn't stand this follower because he reminded me of something related to the Crypt Keeper. I'm no fan of Bethesda's "Skyrim follower system," as many of you can probably understand. I normally use follower mods made by you wonderful people, but in one of my character's cases I just wanted a Nord to shut up and stay behind me. Stab something here, light something on fire there. I started my character in Solitude, and that's where I needed a mercenary so he was a nice fit.

This mod only changes Belrand aesthetically, no changes as far as dialogue or scripts. Everything is strictly Vanilla, so it should be compatible with any mod that DOES NOT alter his appearance.

He is also given a steel sword to replace his plain ole' iron one. I'm strange when it comes to swords and scabbards, and the iron one is just... Yeah.

To be entirely honest, I'm not sure as to whether or not dialogue or script changes are compatible. It would be safe to say to use this mod without any others that alter Belrand, but that's just being on the safe side.

If there are any problems or incompatible mods with this one, feel free to leave a comment and I will check daily! Seriously, I can't stress this enough. You can't fix a mistake if you don't know you made one to begin with.

Permission: Not that anyone would want it, but if you do just ask.

Happy Modding!

P.S., Writing this, I am under the assumption that you know where he is located. In case you don't, he is located in the Winking Skeever in Solitude. He sits at a table in the corner.
