    Known Issues:
    - If you have a class which starts the game off with level 5 smithing, then you can't complete the smithing tutorial quest until you level up smithing a bit (you need to have a higher smithing skill in order to temper the dagger).

When updating to version 1.45, make sure that the Thief Stone ability is not active (visible) in your active spell effects list prior to saving and updating. Other than that, you can just replace the old files with the new ones and continue your save.

If Updating from 1.0, then I strongly recommend starting a new character or else reverting to a save prior to installing Disparity, rather than trying to update from Version 1.0.

Compatibility information can be found in the mod description as well as the forum tab above.

    Custom Race Support
I have created a topic (see the forum tab above) to discuss adding support for custom races. If you have a custom race that you'd like to see supported, then please make your suggestions there.

Is there a version of Disparity available for special edition?

Hello. I'm almost 100 hrs into a playthrough on SSE with the Ordinator perk and I have a slight issue. I chose to be a pure mage and after leveling to 100 the 6 magic related skills and a few others I am still below level 60. At this point every skill increase doesn't matter very much towards the next level. Is there a way to help me reach higher levels without installing any other mods? For example now I'm training light armor, but it takes many skill increases to reach just one new level.

Does this have custom carry weights assigned per race? I was looking for a hardcore carry weight mod, but sadly most of them manually edit racial records and so conflict with a lot of other mods.

I mean if this doesn't have carry weight changes, I guess I could manually add them in the bashed .esp... still, it'd be a nice QoL thing if I didn't have to.

Is there a way to adjust your characters body weight?

This is done during character creation. You can also use the console to access the character menu (type: showracemenu). This mod doesn't add any additional way to change body weight beyond those two methods, which already exist in the game.

does gender disparity basically mean male > female? I know I dont have to turn it on but, man, seems kinda ridiculous unless the .01 difference in speed actually make a difference for some of them. Also, I would think orc females would be stronger than Bosmer males but eh might be wrong.

The third chart in the image gallery shows the gender differences. Males tend to be stronger, but both genders have advantages over the other.

I saw the image before I made the post so Ill try to be more clear. The first 7 columns seem to be balanced save the first one (but since speed is changed for each individual race/gender, the height doesn't matter). The carry weight, unarmed, and physical damage and most of the relative speed columns are definitely in favor of males. In addition, unless unarmed doesn't count as physical damage for whatever reason, it is a double whammy for most of the females due to the negative modifier. I saw the persuasion change in the mcm but it is more or less countered by the intimidation one which itself adds more negative modifiers to females. In conclusion, I really don't see the point in playing females in regards to a meta gaming perspective if all the mcm options are turned on. Immersive - maybe, but definitely not balanced. If you disagree, please let me know as I still feel like I'm missing something.

If by balance you mean facing approximately the same level of difficulty in game regardless of race/gender then this mod is not for you.
If you want a more challenging, and more immersive, game experience then look no further.
Each of the 16 race/gender options is balanced, internally, to support a particular style of play consistent with the race/gender differences of earlier TES games.
Which means character creation requires a bit of thought. If you don't choose an appropriate class, and adjust your style of play to capitalize on the strengths and compensate for the weaknesses of the race and gender of your character, you will have a very frustrating experience.
Some of the Disparity race/gender options are more difficult than others, and ALL of them are more difficult than vanilla.
In short, every combination gives you a different, and challenging, experience.

I know that Kryptopyr will eventually convert this to SE, but has anyone did it themselves? What exactly do I need to do? Also, I have heard some people that say it has issues with FNIS when they have converted, is there any truth to this?

Not harder than just re-saving the plugin in CK64

Just don't use it with FISS. Unfortunately the scripts within Disparity that function with FISS need to be fixed otherwise you get an instant CTD.

Wish there was just a quick fix or a dll replacement for the FISS file within Disparity but there is not at the moment.

You can use FISS with Disparity on SSE, but you need to turn off FISS when first starting up your character and then quit the game and re-activate in your load order when you're finished making your character.

Better yet, after re-saving the .esp in CK64, simply hide/delete FISSFactory.pex and FISSInterface.pex inside Disparity's scripts folder.

      Will that work???
      [Edit]
No it doesn't work, but what does work is what @calfurius mentioned. Install FISS but do not activate it. Complete creating your character, save, and quit the game. Activate FISS and play!

Love the idea, New to mod. However the game does not seem to load Mod at all, and I can't access the in game menure featers, class/gender etc. I have Alternate Random Start and I can choose a kit, but not set a class. Any help?

Based on your brief description I'd suggest two things.
First make certain that Disparity is properly installed and activated by your mod manager.
Second switch from Random Alternate Start to Arthmoor's Alternate Start - Live Another Life mod. RAS is over six years old and probably not fully compatible with Disparity. Arthmoor's mod is fully compatible and offers a more user friendly approach to character creation.

Just discovered this mod and am going to try it on a new Skyrim install. A few concerns/observations:

    * When I click on the "mod reported to be compatible" link it just reloads the Disparity description page.

    * It would be nice if the classes were actually listed in the Player Classes info.

    * I saw someone mention that SPERG is probably compatible. However, I am also using the SPERGified version of Expanded Arcaneum (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/66485). I don't see any obvious problems but I'd appreciate any thoughts on compatibility.

    * I really love the secondary class benefits - all of them make perfect sense to me with one possible exception. I think for Willpower it would be logical to replace the "Power Attacks require 10% less stamina", which is also an Endurance-based benefit, with "Take 20% less damage over time from bleeding." If that doesn't seem sensible then here's an alternative: "Bash attacks require 10% less stamina".

Here's hoping everything works well on my playthrough.

This is my first time trying out this mod and I am running into an issue that I can't fix, REALLY SLOW attack speeds. I had a rather large mod list when I first installed the mod but have since uninstalled all of them and this is currently my plugins order; and the only mods that are currently installed are Alternate Start, Disparity and Skyui.

Your answer is literally on the Description page of this mod. Coincidentally, if you were to read the Andromeda page Compatibility section, your answer is ALSO listed there.

Wow, no need to be such a dick about it, jeez :/
I did read the description, and I made Andromeda to load after Disparity, and it's still wasn't working
It just took a while to realize about the "Use Modified Blessings" option

Trekari responded to your question and pointed you to two places where you could find an answer. There is nothing rude in pointing out that the answer is already in the mods' descriptions. It seems like a reasonable response to a question that had a rather obvious answer. Your original post failed to mention any previous steps you had taken to address the problem, or any other indication that you had read the mod descriptions, so I'm not sure what other sort of answer you expected. Instead of taking such answers so personally, maybe try to think about how you can better clarify future questions so you receive the sort of answers that would be most helpful in figuring out whatever issue you're having.
