Identical to 1.1 and 1.1fixed aside from the fact that the FOMOD should work regardless of whether you're using MO or NMM. All thanks to Raulfin for doing in 5 minutes what took me a week to fail at doing. Show him and PCaPP some love if you haven't.
No real reason to update if you got 1.1 or 1.1fixed to work, but it won't hurt anything if you do.
Remember, keep giving me feedback on the Balanced and Hardcore versions, especially the new max encounter zone levels. Thanks guys and have fun.
Hello. Is this mod compatible/recommended along with Experience? I change the ini setting in experience to gain exp killing enemies but I had to increase the amount because I played for a week and got me only to lvl.24. If I understand what this mod does right, I will have to increase even more that value. Anyone here experienced (sorry for the pun) with Experience? Just with Vanilla's difficulty zone in Expert, I was dying a lot.? I plan to do a long rpg playthrough so this mod seems like a great idea, but I also want to enjoy (this is not Dark Souls) and being able to use more perks. How can I know the amount of exp required to level up each level (flat values) because I will no longer be gaining experience by leveling up skills, only by finish quest, killing enemies and clearing dungeons. I need to know this to adjust the amount of exp each kills gives.
Hey I have a question I was wondering someone could help me with.
I am using a version of this mod on ps4, the only difference being that there is no level scaling at all. The fixed levels for each encounter zone (dungeon) are the minimum levels that this mod has. The maximum levels for each EZ are just 1 level higher than the minimum. This means that it is easier to out level an encounter zone, but if you are a lower level than the minimum level of the EZ it will be just as difficult.
I want to do a 100% quest and dungeon completion run of the game, while playing on legendary difficulty. The thing is though, if you start completing all dungeons, you will out level most of the content and make the game much easier, which is not what I want. I have therefore downloaded a skill level slower mod to counteract this. The only issue I have is that I don't know much I should slow levelling by. I want to make it so the vast majority of dungeons I encounter are challenging and require me to play more tactically. I would much rather level too slowly and have to grind levels to meet a dungeons' requirements than to level too quickly and have the challenge taken out of the game.
If anyone has used this mod with a level slower, what was your experience with it? How much did you slow it down? Did you have to grind a lot for levels? Or did you still level too quickly for some dungeons? Any help or insights are much appreciated. Thanks!
Edit: One thing I should point out is that I'm playing the hardcore version of this mod (just with max levels of each EZ capped at +1 of the minimum level).
Idk how much control you have in the xp gain from this mod, but I'm using uncapper and I've cut the exp gain in all skills but crafting in 3, so I'm gaining 3x less exp for each skill except Smithing, Enchanting and Alchemy, those are gaining the double of the vanilla xp (because I don't want to spent a lot of time grinding crafting skills on a singleplayer game) then I also disabled the effect these skills have on my character's level, so it doesn't matter how much levels I hit in crafting skills, my character won't gain any xp from them at all.
I wanted to play a pure mage and make Skyrim a little more fun with this without turning it into Requiem.
Yeah... no. As a mage, you are screwed with this mod. Bleak Falls bandits will one-shot you with simple iron arrows even when you are on their level. Sorry, but as much as I want a harder game, this isn't very well planned out, at all. Characters with armors might be better off, yes, but mages are being royally screwed and there is actually nothing the player can do about this, as even more health won't do any good.
A mod that pretty much rules out an entire class just is not fit.
I concur with this. I'm inside Alftand with a lv 38 mage with 176 armor rating and I'm getting oneshotted by falmers. Not even the poison damage, just the main arrow damage. It's absolutely ridiculous
this mod is really good for someone who is lookin for a tough challenge, I'm doing a Shout and Daedric Artifacts rush with my character and this mod just put my character in his place several times in almost quick succession. Love it! First of all some bandit camps made me use all of the skills that I've got up to that point and now that I'm at the entrance of Bruca's Leap Redoubt those Forsworn Melt my HP bar in a second! Even with Forgotten Magic Redone, PerMa, Aurora Standing Stones and Thunderchild this playthough is one of the greatest challenges that I've encountered! I'm also using the Lover's Stone from Aurora and still get 100 to 0 in a few seconds and with this mod it makes you think of different strategies in order to have at least a single chance of getting out of there alive. I've recommended this mod to all of my friends who also play Skyrim.
Holy shiet. I checked the hardcore version of the mod with tes5edit and all zones are lvl 40-60 except for a few.... WHICH ARE LVL 70. The lowest zone I could find was Embershard mine and was lvl 18 with Bandit Highwaymen and Thugs. Almost got oneshot through the shield with 160 health. Im playing with PerMa and i know that everything has higher stats but beware you really need some other mods to counterbalance that mod. I would prefer using World's Dawn for some extra attributes. The game will still be almost impossible at early game and the late game will still be challenging cuz the zones will actually level up high instead of staying static so its like a better version of Requiem's dungeon system. Its BEAUTIFUL.
