About this mod

A merge of Perfect Falkreath and Expanded Towns and Cities Falkreath to create the ultimate version.

Permissions and credits
What is this mod?

A city overhaul.

Cleaned with TES5 Edit

This creates the ultimate Falkreath, an ancient town once ruled by Tiber Septim now falling on harsh times, a conflict of old and new, life and death. This mods increases the defences around the ancient town and builds new wooden defences to prepare for the upcoming war to defend the expanded city. This makes the city feel like a city. The city has a mix of new textures from the original mods and this mix gives the city a developing feel. Hope you enjoy.

This is my version of Perfect Falkreath and Expanded Town and Cities Falkreath edited in a way that allows both mods to work together. I've also added a few things to make the city look like a city. It has all the major features of both mods and fully walled defences with extra gateways, a new entrance beyond the graveyard, a little island crossing near the wood cutter and a guard's training station. I've also closed off an old abandoned mine and burned down house near the bee keeper.

Installation

This mod has two files in  one download.
The ETAC file should load lower than the perfect Falkreath file. If it doesn't then the city will look very strange and you will know about it very quickly.

THis will also require you to download the ETAC resources file that comes with the main ETAC downloads:
http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13608/?

Comaptability

This is only partially compatible with JK's Falkreath, there will be plenty of clipping from what JK adds. If you're using a mod that retextures the houses in Falkreath like Tamriel Reloaded HD then you may want to delete the retextures for the houses or the stone houses may look a bit wooden and strange.

One small issue has been reported. The quest Lost Relics won't start. The shopkeeper Nuri, doesn't seem to have the dialogue option to start the quest. This is a small Dawngaurd quest: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Lost_Relic
To Fix:
The "ETaC - Falkreath.seq" file in the SEQ folder from the original ETaC needs to be renamed to "z ETaC - Falkreath load after.seq". That will bring back the dialogue option for Nuri to start the quest. To actually hear the voices, you'll need to change the names of the folders inside the Sound folder.

Special thanks to Andre for finding this out and posting the fix in the comments.

FAQ

I get CTD:
You're missing the ETaC Resources file

I downloaded ETaC complete, Falkreath looks strange:
Then disable the Falkreath .esp from the official ETaC complete, you need my edits to have my version

Will you ever update:
99% no, 1% maybe

Falkreath is a mess:
Wrong load order, my Perfect above, my ETaC below

No, Falkreath is mess in this mod:
Ok that's kinda rude, it's a real city now and litter is minimal

Will this affect frame rates:
Not any more than normal, I have a i7 with a GTX 650ti though. I don't drop a frame but I don't know about you.
If you struggle please condider using one of the original mods instead.

Will you please make this compatible with x, y and z:
Sorry but I love it like it is and I don't plan on adding to it but you're more than welcome to edit.

Problem with Lost Relics quest?
See conflicts for the work around, sorry, at least it's a small quest and can be fixed.

What does FAQ stand for:
Falkreath ain't qboring no more, the q is silent.

The future of this mod

I have no intention of ever editing these modded files. They have been extensively tested and I have eventually found no issues. If you do want to make changes then go for it but sorry I don't have the time to make any more edits to this.

If anybody wants an extra project to expand on the old falkreath mine or the burned out house then please contact me when you make it, I'll link to your work or you can upload here. That is the only update I can forsee but personally I think it's more lore-friendly to see damage in a worn torn dragon country and old mines should be closed. Alternatively you could do like me and edit one of the excellent new lands mods so that the entrance to the new land is where these doors are, I won't be uploading that small edit though.

My other mods

...yet to be uploaded

Dawnstar, ETAC + JK patch
Expanded Dawnstar Defences, compatible with JK and my patched ETAC
Skyrim Knights: Housecarls for the important folk in Skyrim
