iu am going to assume you are using windows 11 and or an rtx card. try enabling the forced windowed borderless options and if you still get it also enable waitrendererbusy

Hey, I have an issue where the grass becomes very dark, I don't know if it's related to the enb or not.

I Installed the enb properly i believe but i am stuck with this flickering problem. I am not sure what to do, can someone give me advice? I also have the darker dungeons mod and revamped exterior fog mod installed...

if your screen is flickering you can set FixLag=false in enblocal.ini, this worked for me

so to anyone having the same problem that I was; where your FPS seemed to be capped at 30, if you go to your main skyrim folder (where the EXE is, and where you installed the ENB to) open up enblocal and set VSync to false, what VSync does is basically cap your FPS to your monitor's hertz rate, which is how many frames your monitor can display on it's screen each second, now I have a 60 FPS monitor so I don't know why it capped to 30, my only guess as to why it caps to 30 is that the mod author has a 30 Hertz monitor and it went off of that, but overall I don't know why, and that doesn't matter, I'm just saying how to fix this. (I really need to stop rambling)

anyway, to summarise go to your Skyrim install directory, open ENBLocal, set VSync to false.

Any recommendation for similar ENB for Special Edition?

Tranquility and Kountervibe are imo best.

[EDIT] Nothing comes close, still. But there are two that can get you a similar vibe:
      1) Mythical ENB - Oldrim-like bloom, lovely juicy visuals, maybe the best ENB you can get for a fantasy playthrough.
      2) Silent Horizons ENB (successor of Silent Skies) - more of a toolbox than a ready-to-play experience, if you don't like the default styles. You'll have to tweak it, but the results can be amazing for SSE. I have posted some screenshots there, with my custom bloom settings, trying to imitate a bit of the Tranquility/Serenity vibe.

Getting horrible fps on the menus and in game on a gtx 1080 at 1080p, is there something wrong with this enb? I tried serenity and get major stuttering and bad fps as well, any help?

Are you using the latests ENBdev (d3d9.dll etc) files? If so this ENB does not work well with that anymore, Last I played v0.279 worked nicely.

Other commenters also said .262 works fine. (which you can still download) no clue if .292 works, I might test

this is a very old ENB and not updated so you'll need to screw with it a bit.

also not compatible with any weather mod

Late reply, but you have to do it in the Weathers window, as this uses ENb weathers. Editing in the enbseries.ini will have no effect.

Ok. Since this guy(and a lot of other ENB authors I have noticed) assumes that EVERYONE is an ENB expert and gives incomplete and unhelpful install instructions, I will complete it for anyone doing ENB for the first time(like I was and wishing someone told me all this)

    1. You MUST have the mod One Tweak and set your game to "Windowed Mode" in the Skyrim Launcher. Otherwise it either wont work, or you wont be able to alt-tab out of the game without a crash. Also just seems to improve performance with an ENB.

    2. You MUST go in SkyrimPrefs.ini in your My games\Skyrim folder and change bfloatpointrendertarget=1, otherwise this ENB wont work.

    3. You MUST set the SKSE loader thingy to RUN AS ADMINISTROR.

    4. If you are on Windows 10 (MOST OF US ARE), you MUST go into your C:\ Windows\System32 folder and copy D3d11.dll and dxgi.dll from there into your Main Skyrim folder, that is the folder where the Skyrym.exe is located.
  10. I'm getting terrible blinking and flickering with bars across the screen. I only had Dark Dungeons and Revamped Exterior Fog for lighting or weather mods installed.

I was looking through the picture gallery you linked and I think I found the textures. They look amazing but the author needs to work on user friendlyness. Hiding donwloads behind pictures is simply bad web design. I totally understand if he/she won't upload on the Nexus though. You don't want Dark0ne to own your work.
