UPDATE: Version 1.1 adds ambient occlusion to the diffuse textures to give more depth to the shading. A subtle, but still noticeable addition, especially with ENB.
Here's the place to post your comments and queries. Since this mod is just a simple texture replacer, it shouldn't create any series mod conflicts. I spent quite a bit on time on these retextures, so I hope people enjoy the results.
Feel free to post your screenshots to the gallery. There are number of bottles I didn't get to capture, so anything missing would be greatly appreciated.
This should be compatible with AE since it's all just textures, right? I noticed you didn't have this mod in your Rustic series on Special Edition Nexus. Unless it was merged into another one of your Rustic mods and I just didn't notice.
I had a feeling you were correct, wouldn't make sense. I'm sorry for my abruptness, I don't wish to come across as lazy. I know it's none of your concerns really, but if you would know how to go about dealing with an issue like certain invisible items, I'd be happy if you wanted to share such a fix. If not, I understand and you may remove this thread.
Invisible textures are usually an issue of missing or Corrupt Textures, this can be caused by a plethora of things (no one said Modding was easy) as a good place to start you should download LOOT and at least get your Load Order in Check, a simple google search of LOOT will get you the program.
after that you will need TES5Edit to clean up, after these 1st two steps you can start to weed out the issue. Which is most likely a conflicting mod of some sort trying to replace the same texture as another.
I appreciate the reply, and you'll have to excuse me for the delay. I won't have high hopes of a continuation of this thread, but I thought I'd still just say that I followed the STEP guide and I'm somewhat "involved" with the details of modding, or however you want to phrase that.
I looked at the item in TES5Edit but couldn't see anything that stood out. I will continue looking into it and see if I can find anything that could be causing it. Hopefully I can find an answer that maybe others can have some use of, apart from myself.
I tried this mod (not the animated version) as is with Skyrim Special Edition and it seems to work. I loaded every bottle into a cell and did not notice any problems. However, further inspection could be made to ensure that it looks correct.

Save files for the images. Also includes some extra save files for closer look on different potions. The ones used in the images are potions.ess, poisonsnew.ess and p21.ess. Should work in non-Special Edition Skyrim too. http://demo.s42.io/f.php?h=141491167439&mail=1

My textures were designed as a vanilla replacer, so I really haven't checked them against all the other potion replacer mods. It might be compatible, but you would have to try it out yourself.
They are both included in S.T.E.P.: Extended (http://wiki.step-project.com) and thus assumingly works together. In S.T.E.P.:Extended, Rustic Potions is loaded/installed after Radiant and Unique Potions and Potions and Poisons HD and thus, since they change some of the same textures, 8 texture files from Radiant and Unique Potions and Potions and Poisons HD are overwritten by Rustic Potions. The overwritten files are for poison bottle, frostbite venom and generic potion.
I like to actually look at the files for kicks. I'm just wondering -- I hope you remember since you made these quite a long while ago -- what does greynoise.dds actually do? Just curious .
Hi Gam', whenever you find time please think about to make a patch for "Pretty Animated Potions and Poisons". He had great ideas for that mod with the normals and animations. But I like your textures much more.
You ever thought about making all this "Rustic" stuff available in one big download? "Rustic Clutter" was a good start, but then you have things like this, the soul gems, crafting stations, windows, and all these really nice retextures that end up taking up dozens of slots in a mod stack.
I have too many mods with too many options to make it practical. The majority are just texture mods, without ESP files, so they don't take up a plugin slot. It doesn't hurt you to have as many as you want.

The animated version has now been ported.

Here I thought I was all done modding my game, and now I've got 30 more tabs open.
It looks awesome, I love your work. Thanks for sharing!
