    14-8-2018
Version 1.3 is available for download.

    24-8-2018
The Great City of Dawnstar released.

    28-8-2018
The Great City of Winterhold Version 1.4: Mod cleaning, edits the main road to match the rest of the ruins better and adds abandoned stables in front of the main enterance.

    16/9/2018
The Great City of Winterhold Version 1.5: Fixes a navmesh issue. Redoes some parts to give Winterhold more of a unique and grand vibe. * Removed

I noticed there are a few Winterhold guards that I think are added by this mod that dont change to imperial if you take the city for the imperials. The new imperial guards will fight them if they see them.

Ah yes thanks, sorry for the late reply. I already have it fixed for the next version.

Just discovered this mod, very impressed with it. Found a couple of minor issues. Behind the statue of Shalidor you added, there are two clusters of icicles floating in mid air that should probably be removed. Inside the Watch Tower, the teleport markers for the door is floating well above the floor (needs to be dropped down) and the one for the ladder is sunk almost all the way through the floor (needs to be raised to floor level). That's all I've found so far. Really nice job of making Winterhold look and feel as its described in game lore.

Thanks for the heads up. I can't find any floating icicles though? Can you upload a picture for me?

Anyways glad you like the mod!

Is this compatible with "Interesting NPCs"? I think they placed a homeless guy and horse at one of the ruined homes....

Does it change the Winterhold College?

This is compatible with interesting NPCs. It just moves the guy with the horse a little.

This mod makes Winterhold look incredible. It's amazing that adding more buildings somehow makes it look more destroyed--the decimated half that tumbled down the cliffs is sick! Really well done, can't imagine how long it took to place all that.

The city looks amazing however a bit disappointed that the still lacks a bit of life now that it has a bigger size. You added all these houses made winterhold look like a proper city could have even given us our own player home but everything still feels lifeless with most of the new houses boarded up with no new npcs/vendors to live in them in addition to a lack functional market square the npcs could interact in.

Overall well done this probably one of the best looking mods  Im sure you work hard on it  but it feels more cosmetic than a functional settlement.

Thank you so much for making this mod. Pairing it with I.C.O.W., this area now has a truly rich environment, and I love it. Great job!

Hi Archinatic. Are you planning on updating this edition to Version 4.03 too?

No other vanilla settlement disappointed me more than Winterhold. After travelling all that way to the most remote and inhospitable part of Skyrim, to the original capital and home of the college everyone and their mother had told me to go to, it was barely bigger than Rorikstead!

I expected something so much more and frankly this mod is it! I cannot praise it enough, this feels like the Winterhold we all were expecting and deserved. You can clearly see it was something much bigger and grander; truly a sight to behold once upon a time, unlike the vanilla version with some ruined generic farm houses on the edge. A lot of thought went into it, more than Bethesda at least. 10/10 highly recommended for anyone who experienced the same disappointment with vanilla Winterhold I did.

This is a very nice mod, i love it !
although i have seen some "old" buildings are still visible .... and "clipping" with the new ones.
Some npcs couldn't walk through, some floating snow which was comming from my "no snow under the roof" mod...

but I fixed them miself very easily with Jaxonz Positioner by just deleting them manually.
    Now everything works quite nicely

Some of the lighting inside the buildings is not working correctly, but that's ok with me. I'm gonna just pretend that it's ok.

May I ask something, Has anyone tried this mod alone and suffered CTD? I want to make sure it was Immersive Citizens and not this one, because when i had them both it crashed on Winterhold.

In theory, any settlement marked in yellow or gray does not contain  major modifications.

      COPIED FROM IC MANUAL
Green: AI fully overhauled (all features have been implemented).
Light Green: The following features have been implemented: Survival Instinct, Go Home, Combat Style and General Behaviors.
Yellow: The following features have been implemented: Survival Instinct, Go Home, and Combat Style. (Winterhold is marked yellow)
Grey: No modifications. (Feel free to modify anything... i guess)

So I suppose there can be no conflict when modifying these settlements.
Of course they are only my assumptions, if someone has any certainty about it, it would be very useful.

(EDIT: have IC installed and with this mod Birna doesn't move at all, not even to go to her store)
