Why did I give up on Immersive Creatures?
As of version 1.63 I will no longer host a patch for Skyrim Immersive Creatures (SIC) at my Requiem Patch Central. Since many fellow Requiem users probably won’t like this, I’ve written this article to summarize my reasons.
Vanilla Skyrim has no balance whatsoever and difficulty is achieved by multiplying numbers. This creates a boring gameplay but it has one big advantage: You want to add Immersive Creatures, Ultimate Combat, OBIS, Monster Mod and Civil War Overhaul to your game because they add cool features or new enemies? No problem, the multipliers will ensure you can beat any enemy at any level. But now you want to add Immersive Creatures, Ultimate Combat, OBIS, Monster Mod and Civil War Overhaul to your Requiem based game? Terrible idea because they disrupt a carefu...
