Pretty neat mod, stealing without being in stealth mode is counter productive anyway, and allowing to do so is plain counter intuitive, so good thought for fixing this

But I don't get the use of the basket, what is it for ? ^^'

It's for things you don't want to be able to accidentally pick up. For example, you might happen to click on a plate while in stealth mode, but you don't want to steal it. If you put it in the basket and Register the basket, then you'll no longer accidently pick up plates.

Hello. Thanks for the mod, it's great.
I have to report issue with the basket.
If item stealed (with red hand [by SkyUI]) and added to the basket, in the basket will be non-stealed item. And if you try to pick another similar item (redhanded too) with enabled options "MultiTap" and "Basket MultiTap", that item picks up in one tap.
Sorry if my explanation was not clear, my english is very bad.

Does anyone know if this could be somehow incompatible with QuickLoot? I'm using SSE with towarot's version he just released on Nexus SSE, and it seems to prevent QuickLoot (based on Himika's mod) from working properly. The lootmenu only appears when pickpocketing. Could anyone confirm this with Oldrim too?

Edit: Ok, towarot set it to hidden due to bugfixing..

Edit2: Nevermind, it was caused by "Animations" mod. Had to disable looting animation.

I will be happy to see the SSE version fixed and unhidden when towawot gets time. I really loved this mod in Legendary.

FYI - towawot has uploaded an experimental SE version of this mod (BlockStealSE 'TEST' build for Special edition v1.5.39) here on the Oldrim page. I've installed it and so far it appears to be working perfectly.

    Thanks towawot!

Has anyone managed to get this working for SE on their own? I managed to convert several of my other must-have mods following the most basic method (i.e. unpack BSAs - where applicable - and convert ESPs with the creation kit) successfully, but although Blocksteal Redux appears normally in the MCM menu and settings can be changed etc, in practice it doesn't appear to do anything :'(

Since this has an SKSE plugun int can't be converted by the most basic conversion methods, higher programming skills have to get their hands in these and at least recompile the plugin to 64 bit, or change other stuff if the dll plguin is more complex. So only the author or someone that as experience in these matters and gets the author permission can properly convert this to SSE.

Seconded! I ALWAYS had this installed for all of my Oldrim games. No similar mod exists for SSE. :(

Yes, this is one of the most useful mods, I always use it.
I'll risk giving advice - release the most simplified version for SE, without activation and menu, just a ban in the usual mode and stealing stealth. The simpler, the more reliable.

I second this. Even the very basic function of the mod is what we really need. :)

It needs SKSE so won't happen for quite a long while.

That "quite a long while" has happened now, and skse64 is out. Really hoping to see this ported!
