__Details_________________________________

This mod adds additional ring and circlet options, makes all rings and circlets craftable at the forge, and makes craftable, unenchanted versions of Dark Brotherhood/Thieves Guild armors available.

  • Adds Orichalcum rings, craftable at the forge, with all gems as options; the installer allows all relevant circlet and ring names to be set as either Jade or Orichalcum, for consistency and best matching with other mods.

  • Adds Corundum rings, craftable at the forge, with all gems as options; the installer allows all relevant circlet and ring names to be set as either Copper or Corundum, for consistency and best matching with other mods.

  • Adds Ebony rings, craftable at the forge, with all gems as options (except for those which are circlet-specific).

  • Adds Ebony circlets; all circlets are craftable at the forge, and have been expanded so that all gems are available with all metals.

  • Gold and silver rings may now be made with any gems, except for those which are circlet-specific.

  • All new rings have lefthanded versions; the installer allows them to use either Slot 56 or Slot 60. All are visible in first person view.

  • Adds three new gem types to the game: opal, topaz, and onyx. All three can be used in crafting circlets; onyx and topaz can be used in crafting rings.

  • Adds new materials as "gems" that can be used for crafting circlets: amethyst, opal, stalhrim, malachite, and white moonstone.

  • Makes blue moonstone (found only in vanilla circlets) separate from white moonstone; both are available for circlet crafting.

  • Adds recipes for unenchanted Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood armor, as well as the Jagged Crown, made available at the forge once the regular enchanted versions have been obtained. This includes the Guild Master and Blackguard sets, and the Nightingale armor.

  • Alters the recipe for crafting Steel ingots so that it requires charcoal lumps instead of Corundum, and makes charcoal lumps craftable at the smelter from firewood.

  • Some jewelry recipes are set as conditional so that you need certain perks to craft them; Ebony circlets require the Ebony Smithing perk, for example.

  • All new jewelry pieces (and gems) are integrated into the leveled lists and will show up as random loot, radiant quest objectives, and rewards.

  • Static Mesh Improvement Mod versions of all new jewelry available as an option during install.

  • All circlets have a separate AA file for elves, based on the USLEEP fixes for circlets.

__Change Log____________________________

Fix   - 4/15/16
-Fixed minor (mostly cosmetic) problem with the installer file.

v4 - 3/26/16
-created SMIM versions of all new rings for consistent quality when using SMIM
-created alternate versions where rings/circlets use Copper or Corundum, and Jade or Orichalcum, configurable during install
     -created FOMOD for installation
-incorporated AA circlet files for elves based on USLEEP fix
-fixed a broken AA file for Silver Emerald circlets
-circlets now require flawless gems, like necklaces

v3 - 12/1/15
     -added amethyst circlets
-fixed silver ruby circlet for Argonians; it was using the silver emerald AA
-fixed missing files for topaz circlets
-fixed glitch that nulled out the armor recipes
-added smithing requirements based on materials, in order to keep the jewelry list smaller at the beginning/for consistency:
*for ebony circlets you now have to have the Ebony Smithing perk
*for orichalcum circlets you now have to have the Orcish Smithing perk
*for stalhrim circlets you now have to have the Ebony Smithing perk and to complete the quest to enable stalhrim smithing
*for malachite circlets you now have to have the Glass Smithing perk
*for both types of moonstone circlets you now have to have the Elven Smithing perk

v2 - 5/23/15
-added circlets to leveled lists based on value
-cleaned up AAs because I evidently didn't know how they worked
-remade .esp files entirely and cleaned with TESVEdit
-added a cubemap to the opal mesh so it will hopefully look a bit better (if anyone knows how to make a normal map for it, hit me up)

Fix   - 2/23/15
-Fixed bad filepath preventing the jewelry from showing up. Also fixed faulty recipe for gray thieves guild boots. I am super embarrassed that I didn't figure out what was wrong sooner; mea culpa.

Fix   - 2/15/15
-Re-uploaded as loose files; some users could not see the new jewelry pieces in the .bsa

v1.5 - 1/13/15
     -added corundum rings
-alternate file created where lefthand rings take slot 56 instead of slot 60
-plain orichalcum and ebony rings created
-redid color a bit on gold ring meshes so it looks slightly better to me
     -fixed ring prices

__Notes________________________________

Circlet and ring prices have been set to compromise between existing prices (and the uptick they have when enchanted) and the cost of materials.

__Plans for Future________________________

     --Necklaces
--Opal, malachite, stahlrim, and moonstone rings (maaaaybe; I might have to make new ring meshes for this to work)
--Separate crafting lists to reduce scrolling  No longer going to do this; I looked into it, and there's too much potential for mod conflicts.
--Maybe make circlets wearable with hoods/helmets
     --Maybe make invisible hoods/helmets
     --Additional/better screenshots
     --CCOR support

__Install________________________________

Download and enable with Nexus Mod Manager or Mod Organizer.

__Uninstall______________________________

1. Unequip all jewelry added by this mod and remove them from the inventory of your player and followers. Also remove all new gems.
2. Save and exit game.
3. Disable and delete "Jess' Jewelry and Armor" using your mod manager.

__Compatibility/Notes___________________________

*This mod may conflict with other mods that use the same body slot as the lefthand rings. Slot 56 is usually less likely to conflict than Slot 60.

*It WILL conflict with any mod that changes the vanilla rings and circlets. You'll want to create a bashed patch since I've also edited leveled lists.

*This mod was originally made to go with Lefthand Rings by duggelz, so it doesn't overlap any of that mod. This means that lefthand versions of vanilla rings (gold with sapphire, diamond, or emerald; silver with amethyst, garnet, or ruby) ARE NOT INCLUDED in the vanilla version of this mod. They are only included if you use the SMIM versions when installing.

*(An updated release of Lefthand Rings is here: Lefthand Rings Modified)

__Bugs__________________________________

None I'm aware of at the present time, but PLEASE let me know if you encounter any so I can fix them. First time creating an install config, so especially let me know if stuff isn't installing correctly with the options chosen.

__Credits__________________________

-duggelz, for letting me use his lefthand ring meshes as a base for creating lefthand versions of my custom rings.

-Brumbek, for giving me permission to modify the SMIM rings to create lefthand versions for this mod.
