"Empyrean Warpaint in HD" by Empyrean42

This is a set of High Definition Warpaints, hopefully the first in a line of them.

These Warpaints are primarily designed to be used in the RaceMenu mod (accessed via Makeup > Textures).

Empyrean Warpaints now includes 30 female and 17 male warpaints!

** SEMI-IMPORTANT! **

Please note, some of the warpaints aren't very dark, regardless of your color settings, by virtue of how I made them. If you want one darker or more vibrant, just choose the same warpaint twice (or more). You can have about 6 at one time, so have it!

Experiment! You can use the same warpaint twice with two different colors to get some interesting effects.

** REQUIREMENTS **

SKSE - Mandatory.
SKSE.ini file - Mandatory file to add to SKSE, enables warpaints to go from 256x256 to 2048x2048.
RaceMenu - Mandatory if you want all 30 files, using Empyrean Warpaints version 2.0 or higher!
Ningheim Race - Highly reccomended! All Warpaints were modled on this face and what you see pictured here! And, it's a great mod, too!

ECE - I am told the old, replacer packs will work in ECE, but I have not verified this myself.

You can also DL the old files as replacers.

These HD Warpaints also require a special file in order to enable your Skyrim to display the Warpaints in HD.

You need to have "SKSE.INI" in your main Skyrim>Data>SKSE folder, and inside it needs to have this typed (somewhere, if even just by itself) in it:

[Display]
iTintTextureResolution=2048

If you're not sure what this means or how to do it, please go and DL this mod and it will do it for you:

** COMPATIBILITY **

Using the main file here built for RaceMenu, these should be compatible with anything!

If you are using the old Replacer Pack custom Warpaints, these will be compatible with ANY standalone set that does not replace other existing Warpaints. These may replace other "replacers", however, but will not cause any instability in the game. If you do come across game instability attributed to these Warpaints, it is very likely that your computer just isn't modern enough to handle textures of these file sizes.

That being said, they were made and developed base on the Ningheim Race facial structure, so the quality of the results may vary on other races (untested). If there is another, popular custom race, you think I should make adjustments for in a seperate mod, let me know your thoughts. If enough people request them, I will likely do them!

The replacer pack EmpyreanWarpaint1, is not compatible with the other replacer pack, EmpyreanWarpaint2. BOTH packs replace the same files!

If you want some of the Warpaints from one replacer pack and some from the other, you will have to separate out the .dds files yourself from the zip/archive/7z files and pick and choose which ones you want and rename them accordingly. If you need more advice on this, feel free to leave a comment.

** INSTALLATION **

Use NMM installer.

-or-

Download the zip file.

Open the archive.

Drag the folder in to your Skyrim folder.

Launch Skyrim and enjoy like any other Warpaint.

NOTE:
If you are using the OLD replacer pack files and you get a window saying these would replace others, then it means you already have Warpaint replacers and will lose some (or all) if you accept ... please backup your files or know where they came from before doing so.

** SKSE / RACEMENU **

Within Skyrim, open the "showracemenu"

Select "Makeup"

In the first face overlay, select a basic Warpaint you're NOT going to use and assign it a color.

With this Warpaint still selected, click the "T" key on your keyboard to open Textures.

From this list find the "EmpyreanV_#" (# = 1-30) and click to select Warpaints. You can do this process up to 6 times to layer multiple warpaints!

** VERSION UPDATES **

3.0 - Added 17 male warpaints!

2.0 - Racemenu plug-in containing 30 warpaints!

1.0 - Optional Release of 15 additional warpaints. Replacer pack 2.

1.0 - Initial Release on 3 JAN 2015. 15 warpaints. Replacer pack 1.

I am still having problems assembling a RaceMenu plug-in of my own without the help of fellow modders doing it for me. If anybody has any way of helping me figure out why CK won't see my RaceMenuLoad.psc script, even though it's there and in the correct folder, I'd be very grateful!

** RESTRICTIONS **

If you use my Warpaints in photos that you publish, you MUST (please?) let me know (this is so that I can link your mod here to drive you more downloads, and because I want to see people using it!)

** SPECIAL THANKS **

I want to give a HUGE, TREMENDOUS, SPLENDIFEROUS thank you to TairenSoul for her help in turning these warpaints from silly replacer packs in to EPIC RaceMenu Plug-ins (wrapped in bacon, smothered in cheese)! What an awesome person! Check out her own GLORIOUS warpaints located at: http://missanithrope.com/guest_tairensoul.php?subaction=showcomments&id=1373782221&ucat=6&template=Mods

Inspiration for several of my warpaints from "Battle Hardened Warpaints" by Diethardt and netherwalk, as well as TairenSoul's warpaints listed above.

I want to give a shout out to Veeblix from Stoja's Warpaints (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60769/) ... her (his?) mod single-handedly helped me figure some of this stuff out via the files he offers in Photoshop, and his (her?) stuff is simplistically beautiful. I also stole Veeblix's idea for the lip tattoos (I modified them), as I can can't do without them.
