Those of you having an issue with the warpaints being an invalid file:
Try opening it as the active file in the Creation Kit and saving the ESP again.
VERSION UPDATES
3.4 - New .esp file that is more TESVedit and Wrye Bash friendly
3.3 - Totally new versions of the "lipstick" paints
3.2 - Added 20 new female warpaints! Also includes alignment fixes for 14 female and 3 male warpaints!
3.1 - Added 2 female warpaints and 32 male warpaints! Also minor fixes on a few female warpaints.
3.0 - Added 17 male warpaints!
2.0 - Racemenu plug-in containing 30 warpaints!

Inspiration for my warpaints from "Battle Hardened Warpaints" by Diethardt and netherwalk, as well as TairenSoul's warpaints listed above. I have tried very hard to have mine look like theirs in terms of quality and awesomeness so users can have all of these warpaint mods and get something different from all of them. I must say though, if I had never seen how AWESOME their paints were and the potential of what a warpaint could do for a character, I probably would never have tried to create my own. For this, they have my deepest appreciation. They are true artists in every sense of the word!
