Includes all the latest versions of the 5 mayor cities, Whiterun plus Whiterun outskirts, Windhelm, Solitude, Markarth and Riften, plus the towns of Riverwood, Dragonbridge, Ivarstead and Rorikstead, and the small open cities of Falkreath, Morthal, Dawnstar and Winterhold. All the towns and cities are as they are at the start of the game, so Windhelm is Stormcloack, Solitude Imperial and so on, but the guards will now automatically update based on your Civil War progress.
Cities and Towns only versions available for download under the optional files tab, they are standalone versions, main file not needed. Big thanks to Teabag86!! he's the one making all these merges for you all, so kudos to him!.

Troubleshooting Guide: Help I'm CTDing in some of the cities!
Do you know that the Skyrim engine has a hard coded 3.1GB limit? It doesn't matter how powerful your machine is, once you hit that limit you will instantly CTD. Adding HD textured everything and a stack of NPC's will push you to the limit. However there are some things you can do to get around this...
Skyrim Performance Monitor will accurately tell you what is going on in your game and show you how close you are to the limit. ENBoost is a must have for a modded game and will allow you to maximise your VRAM. You DO NOT need to use an ENB to use ENBoost. Make sure you are using the latest version of SKSE which includes the memory tweak fixes from SSME
The latest version of USLEEP 3.05 is conflicting with JK's Skyrim and causing CTD's in Windhelm. The issue is a terrain mesh changed by USLEEP to fix incorrect havok collision sounds. Specifically meshes\architecture\windhelm\whvalunstrad6.nif
A compatibility file can be downloaded in the Miscellaneous Section. It simply contains the vanilla mesh whvalunstrad6.nif. There is no esp. Simply place it below USLEEP. Credit to ChuntyMcFist on Reddit for narrowing down the issue and Acerac / Turija for their assistance.
As has been announced I'm going to be taking over maintenance of JKs city and town mods while he moves onto other stuff. At this stage I'm not planing any content updates, or patches, however I'll still be fixing any major bugs or issues that arise in the files so please do keep reporting them. JK has also asked me to handle any permissions questions that come up so feel free to direct them my way as well. As far as I'm concerned, and the way JK has always approached it, there's open permissions for compatibility patches, although please do let me know that you have made a patch is all I ask and give me a link to it, but for anything more then that please ask me first before publishing. As per JKs request, I will also be doing the conversions for all the remaining cities and towns over to SSE as well which will be coming in the new year once I have my new PC set up. Please don't ask me for an ETA, I don't have one, but where possible I'll also bring them to console as well. I'll also be including the bug fixes I worked into JKs Lite to fix a few little things that people may be running into problems with.
If you'd like to have a chat to me about something more directly, whether its a bug or just something to share I have a small discord channel set up for various modding projects you can join by clicking here which I'm pretty much on every day so come and have a chat about these files or any other mod you wish.

Need patch for Dawngaurd add on. Major clipping on the ferryman that were added from that add-on. Dawnguard added three ferryman with boats in Solitude, Dawnstar and Windhelm and this mod interferes with that. The carriages seem fine. If no patches exist I can overlook it. I don't use the ferryman anyway.
Other then that, it works fine still in 2024 with AE edition. No crashes or conflicts on my end. Im pretty careful and selective at the mods I use. Thank you
Not only in Whiterun, i just realize everywhere when u r in game. I spend hours this week checking every single mods from thousands that never had problem before with my own megamods and this mod (no single conflict, warning, etc) was the ****** . for god sake -_-
Skyrim LE hasn't been updated for years, and the last update for this mod is 7years ago, if you have a conflict it's likely to be something you've installed more recently
Hi, don't know if there is still anyone who can help here but I'm gonna ask all the same. I've downloaded a french version of this mod. On the pictures, it looks like roofs have some kind of flat rooftiles (really beautiful) but on my game, that's some wood tiles. Everything on this mod works except this. I tried to reinstall it but nothing changes.
sorry i already the description about mod conflict but will it conflict with a mod that only alter the village outside of whiterun or anything that outside of city?
Does anyone have issues with NPC stop walking, keep standing (possible NEVMESH related problems) in Riverwood cell? I test without this mod and they start walking again. Also NPC seem trouble pathfinding around the riverwood trader, they stop walking there if they walk along the road from outside of the village.

I just wanted to let you guys know that Nazenn is going to take over my cities and towns overhauls from now on.
I'm not retiring from modding, I'll still be working on DarkenD, I have an update coming soon with some new content.
