BBP is a breast physics system that relies on three things:
1. Custom skeleton: XP32 Maximum Skeleton http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26800/? or Custom Skeleton Replacers http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/16712/?
2. Animations accounting for BBP: The TBBP animation of Dragonfly with butt bounce http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34713/? or Victorias High Heel walk Animation plus BBP http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/13272/?
3. Custom body or armor meshes, there are many versions UNP, CBBE and SeveNBase: SeveNBase a custom FemaleBodyReplacer http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36992/?
Ok. Today I install Skyrim and mod version 1.3, ALL WORK FINE.
So, maybe this bit of info helps FIX this "Textures Problem". How to install mod: Copy the files (DemonicMermaidArmor.esp) and the folders (textures), (meshes) to the Skyrim data folder (\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Skyrim\ Data).
Requirements: 1. You have to install a skeleton which supports BBP such as XP32’s or Skulltyrant’s. 2. You have to install Animations accounting for BBP
Hey sevennity,I installed your mod and it has great texture, i think you should talk to spikedragonlord, who made the tseasci race mod,you two could make a great race mod out of it
Please someone fix the texture issue (refer to below solution by JerisEnigma ) , and port this unique mod to SSE.. It would go perfect with this SSE mod: Gorgons and Medusa to Skyrim
For anyone still having the texture crash problem, this is how I fixed it:
Open the textures in any image editor that can open dds files and resave them as-is. Don't do any fancy "correct" exports or encoding, just save or overwrite. DONE.
I opened mine in GIMP and overwrote them. The end result is a single layered, flat texture that loads and looks fine in game. No idea what the issue is, but it's probably something to do with how it was encoded.
Everything works perfectly, except the textures are completely missing. I've downloaded everything to the Data folder, along with the required mods, but the textures are still messed up. Help?
Your screenshot example is gone, but I had a texture problem when first trying out the mod as well. Even after following Sevennity's suggestions, I ended up having to make new textures to get them to work (ie: not look like mashed pixels in-game). Granted, it took a little extra work, but ultimately resolved the issue for me.
The 'Modified Coral Mermaid Armor' pic in the user screencaps section is an example. I have nowhere near the texturing skill Sevennity has, but it did the trick. I'll see if I can't drop the .dds somewhere after work (as time permits) and give ya a holler.
Alright. The "fixed" textures for the BLUE Coral Mermaid (for those still experiencing crashes) can be found here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/71allkh0v6h9vpw/Coral+Mermaid+Textures+%28fixed%29.rar
These are the original textures for the Blue Coral Mermaid Armor ONLY, tweaked so they stopped crashing my game. (Sevennity, let me know if you'd rather not have this here, and I'll be more than happy to take it down or relocate the link. Just wanted to offer a potential fix for those still struggling with the texture-crash issue.)
Remember to place these in the Textures\PrinGb\ directory.
Give it a spin, and let me know if they work out for you. Try not to load anything except the Blue Coral Armor while testing, too, so the world-displays of the other armors don't give you a false-negative result and crash your game.
