As a Daedric set lover, I always spend some time looking for new mods to "buff up" this amazing set,

but I never found something Really interesting when it's about Glows.

Except one mod, pretty old, called "Skyrim Extended Glow - Daedric Armor" made by Alan Treeps.
He gave me the right to use his old mod to make mine.

This mod comes with, so far, 11 new colors with two variations each - Normal and Extended - and No-Glow and Vanilla versions for
the Daedric set:
  • Vanilla
  • No-Glow
  • Blue
  • Brown
  • Cyan
  • Green
  • Orange
  • Pink
  • Purple
  • Red
  • Soul
  • White
  • Yellow
I'm still taking color requests! if there are any colors left haha
Happy to say that right now this mod contains 24 different colors in both options (Replacer/StandAlone). Thank you all for the amazing support.

Special Feature: This mod comes with a "full-time" glow. What does it means? It means that it will work wherever you are, under any kind of light or weather. Differently from the vanilla version, that when you're in certain places the glow seems to disappear, this one will keep glowing with same intensity inside the darkest cave, or under the brightest sun.

  • Full Installer:
  • Download it using Nexus Mod Manager (NMM) and follow the Installer Instructions.
Note: Do NOT download the Full-Installer manually. It will be worst than bad for you to install it if not through NMM.
Note: If you don't want glowing eyes, simply go to the armor/daedric folder and delete all 4 files related to the helmets. - if you don't want glowing fingertips/claws,
ask me to make one without them with the color your desire.

  • For Manual Installation (StandAlone):
  • Click the "download manually" button and download the mod;
  • Copy and paste the Data folder into your Skyrim folder (steam/steamapps/common/skyrim);
  • Accept all changes (if asked);
  • Enjoy.

  • For Manual Installation (Replacer):
  • Click the "download manually" button and download the mod;
  • Copy and paste the DATA folder into your Skyrim folder (steam/steamapps/common/skyrim);
  • Accept all changes (if asked);
  • Enjoy.

Note: For the ones who want to use my files to make their own choices of colors, here's a list of what items the meshes are related to,
also, for the ones who doesn't like the glowing eyes, simply delete all 4 files related to the helmets and have fun:

NOTE: I'd also like to warn you, guys, that I've found out that Skyrim has an uknown issue/bug when altering the meshes files of a few
weapons. It's not a problem with my mod, it's a problem Skyrim itself has. With this mod - Daedric Glows - you'll see that whenver you
drop a Daedric Bow it will disappear completely and whenever you drop a Daedric Greatsword it will have some collision problems.
So please be careful not to drop either of these items for it may cause you to lose them forever. If you're unfortunate and accidentaly
drop the itens, I'll leave the console code to get them back below this note. Hope you all enjoy using this mod as I enjoyed making it.
Thanks for all the support.

  • Soon releasing v0.2 version with a dagger fix for Weapon Rack so it may also show the correct color glow unstead of the vanilla one, as happens on v0.1, also, comming with a "Dawnguard-less" version, meaning it doesn't require Dawnguard anymore to work.
  • Updated to r0.2

  • Working on a Mod Installer manager for easier download, instalation and for a decent form of chosing which mod/color you want to use. Comming out on v0.3
  • Released Beta version of the Mod Installer, check it out and it's awesome features. Also comes with a fix for the red glowing shield bug.

  • Working on a fix for the conflict/bug with the Helmet Toggle mod. Version comming soon with a new pack of colors.
  • Confirmed as an incompatibility that another mod has about any enhanced closed-face helmets, not a bug/conflict of my mod

  • Installer version 0.4 released: Contains a new and better options layout, fixed wrong directory of Daedric Crossbow files and added new images for the color options.

  • Released new StandAlone version (Armor set only, no weapons). Armor sets are craftable and temperable with the same materials as the basic Daedric Gear.
  • Released on 31th December 2015

Meshes details (colors) for complete Daedric Armor Set glow effet (Male and Female versions), including All Weapons

This mod is compatible with Any Daedric Texture mods, such as
:

Also compatible with some body models and movements modifiers, such as:

This mod isn't supposed to conflict with any other mod, except for mods made to change arrows.
Mods like Ultimate Spinning Arrows and Archery - Spinning Arrows will "conflict" with my mod, causing the arrows to
don't have glows.

How do I fix it?
Simple: Choose. You want glowing arrows or spinning arrows? Pick one and have fun.

 This mod also does Not support any mods that changes completely the form of the weapons or armor, such as

Better Shaped Weapons or similar.

Thanks for the help of a continuous interjection of an unsolicited opinion: SalZone

Special thanks to Eckss, for helping me with my Mod Installer. Best teacher anyone could ever have. I more than owe you.
I also thank Chaosandsorrow and 99Cent for helping me try out the installer and a bunch of other things. I'd be lost without you two.
