They're different. And your opinion is unique and different from countless others out there. That doesn't give you the right to judge a mod as better or worse than another, since it's all a matter of opinion.
If everyone were like you, then very few mods would continue to be made. There would only be one follower tweaks mod, one manhole, one Serena retexture. Which would suck. So I recommend you keep this in mind next time you feel like saying something so rude.
I like the look of the skull texture itself, but the the low poly/res teeth stand out all the more, and not in a good way. I look forward to seeing this project completed to its full potential.
