IF you need a random idea to implement into a mod... how about a transference into Skyrim of the much lauded "BOO" That amazing and gifted, naturally skilled and extremely educated "Giant Space Hamster" ?? I will speculate that "out of the gate" it will be a file of the month. Of course he or she would need to be a bit larger, a more robust and ... dare I say a Baulder and more aggressive version. Pun intended. I would think that about regular "wolf" size would be right. so people would not mistake him for a skeever, eew and of course lore friendly battle armor his teeth are more than enough in the weapons dept. and some new battle cry (I loved the "Go for the eyes Boo") so a little history is needed as a young boo, that you found abandoned and raised up yourself, you knew that the cats,wolves etc would want to eat him/her so you decided some attack training was in order. how to get the sweet lil guy to rip out the throats of a cave bear (not to mention a dragon) well that word "throat" started a chain of thought to the point of an explosive idea throat = oats (Boo's favorite food, w/ a lil cinnamon) so you set out with the goal of victory but realizing that it would take work, but again the idea struck, for the battle cry, "no grain -- no gain" so you took animals you had slain and started the months of throwing grain at the dead beasties and shouting "no grain - no gain" until the day when a rogue sabre cat charged and you instinctively threw some grain and shouted (cast the attack spell) and BOO did his duty, for Gods, for Country and for his Dragonborn. well it works for me, wish I had the skill to make it myself BUT I am still learning from vids. oh and while he is NOT a "beast of burden" he does have a quite cheeky way of carrying extra gear, yes?
