I'll prob never play SSE at this point, but I'm so glad for this comunity that kept this game more than alive for many of us ? Please, if this mod gets renewed, make it for LE too.
Hm I tried porting this mod and this has never happened before, but I can't save in CK to form 44. When showing the usual nonsensical errors and I choose 'Yes to All' to ignore them, the CK crashes. Anyone else manage to resave in CK?
It worked for me, I converted the textures and meshes using CAO, then I loaded the mod in the CK, selected Skyrim.esm and Update.esm as masters, and then saved it.
However, I got two problems. First, the game would crash whenever I was entering an inn. I solved this by moving the mod to very late in my load order, that fixed this issue.
The other problem is the font size. It's incredibly small, I can't figure out how to fix that. I saw a guy on a Reddit posting what he did to fix this issue, but i don't know how to do that --> his comment
I am here again noting that while this is a great mod it is "NOT" compatible with everything. It is incompatible with "A better quality map" mod I know this given the testing I did with it. With that mod in... if you attempt to pull up your map it will instantly CTD. So it should be noted please this mod is in fact not compatible with everything. That being said, if you are not running that mod then you should be fine. It's just that if you are running it you should choose between this and a Quality map mod.
I honestly am not sure. But I was able to reproduce it consistently given that it was the one that when removed seemed to allow the mod to work appropriately. I was able to deduce this given that everything ran fine up to the second I tried to pull up the map. The instant I hit the button CTD. Tried again... CTD. I removed the quality map and tried it again and everything worked fine. So, just to check I put it back in... pulled the map... CTD. So it has to be that mod there is no other explanation. I made no other changes to my mod list other than that one and with that one removed it will work as intended. But with that mod in if you pull the map up it will go straight to desk top. Now... after removing the map mod it's run perfectly fine for a full playthrough. It's just... I dunno... for some reason it does not like that map.
For awhile I thought something was missing from my SE playthrough. Then I remembered that I used to get loads of couriers from this mod and got to take a break in the cities to read the paper. I hope this gets a port someday!
So, I subscribed to the Black Horse Courier. A courier comes to me regularly, the dialogue plays out but he never gives me anything. Is it a known bug ? Do you have any idea what may be causing this bug ?
My Skyrim is quite heavily modded, so I don't want to go through the trouble of searching manually through all the mods for conflicts. If this issue is unknown, I'll just uninstall this mod.
I am having this exact same problem. It's a little annoying, but at least I can still buy each issue from the guys in the inn. I absolutely love the mod and the editions but I wish the subscription worked.
I thought I wasn't receiving them, either because they just come up to you and say, "Let's see... that's it!" as if there was nothing for you... but if you look in your inventory, they gave you a new one. (The only way you can tell is because it's marked "unread".)

You're probably not updating anymore, but if you ever do, a check for the player's gender might be nice.
