1.7 is up, its just a small bugfix and optimization update. No new features as such. The main change is that now the shortbows are included in the main esp's. I get that some people were confused as to why the mainfile didnt include them before, and I think that maybe I didnt make it super clear at first that the shortbows were a separate file that had to be dl'd and installed alongside the main file. But no longer, now all features are in a single dl, you just have to pick an esp and your good
EDIT: I cannot stress enough that you should ONLY ACTIVATE ONE OF THE INCLUDED ESP'S. If you use NMM to install then check your load order!! NMM will activate all of the plugins incuded by default, so If you dont check your load order and deactivate the extra esp's, and you dont read the mod instructions, dont be surprised when your game fails to start.
Also for those of you who are upgrading from v1.6 and dont want to start a new game:
just rename " Dragonslayerarrows - Vanilla.esp" to " Dragonslayerarrows.esp".
EDIT: Nexus user Clevon has generously made a nice FOMOD installer for v1.7, that includes all options and clear descriptions. This will be the main file from now on, thankyou Clevon!!
Has anyone experience a kill cam bug using this bow? My character is stuck at a bow kill cam. You can hear the arrow making a "swoosh" sound in a loop. Can change equipment from the favorites ( Q ) menu but cant move.
So i tried using the Nock to Tip veraion(with Nock to Tip already installed) but i cant find the first level of the Dragonslayer Bow. I can spawn it in and the nexr upgrade will be there, but not the first stage. The arrow recipies are also missing. I think this is something to to with Nock to Tip cause i can craft the Siege heads and the Heavy Nocks, but not the shafts or arrows themselves. Im currently going to uninstall N2T and installing the normal bow version to see. If what i think is true Edit: if i use the normal/tempering version, i can craft it just fine. Same with the arrows. Its possible Nock To Tip made an update that broke yours.
I'm uncertain to whether it is an intended feature, but the arrows fired from these bows in your mod have inaccurate trajectories and will fly above their target. I tried this with different arrows and at different distances, but the arrows always fly above their aimed area. If this is intended or not, could you perhaps share a solution? Thanks
When I made this mod I forgot that I had some ini edits active, and the issue you describe is a side effect of using the bow in a game that doesn't have the same edits applied. They are:
just a bump. i know its years old. flames away please.
your mod is really cool but this should be in an updated .ESP or something. it took some digging just to find this. with that arrow being so inaccurate shooting so high in the 12 o clock i gotta uninstall here. i really hope this gets fixed. bumping in case another is able to do the work. i am not unfortunately.
