What I don't get is the fact that Solitude is the only city in Skyrim with a sewer system of any kind. How does the rest of Skyrim dispose of their waste without sewers? Just a thought.
This little mod adds so much awesome to the game! For those wondering about sewers check out the mod: Skyrim Sewers 4. When used with Skyrim Sewers 4, this mod makes all manhole covers in Solitude, Whiterun and Whindhelm have the Solitude wolf on them! This makes sense because in Skyrim, Solitude was the first hold to have a sewer system, other than Markarth, which has an ancient sewer system. So, Whiterun and Windhelm holds had sewers added to them after they were already built. Moreover, Whiterun and Windhelm modeled their sewer systems after Solitude's sewer system because Solitude's sewer system was the most modern, at the time. So, Whiterun and Windhelm have the Solitude wolf on their manhole covers because Solitude had extra manhole covers and sold some of their extra manhole covers to Whiterun and WIndhelm and because Whiterun and Windhelm modeled their sewer systems after Solitude's modern sewer system. Again, Markarth's sewer system predates Solitude's so Markarth has its own unique style of manhole covers. However, while this backstory fits, it would be cool if the mod author added unique manhole cover meshes and textures for all of the major holds in Skyrim. That way, each major hold would have their own unique design for their manhole covers! Moreover, as to make everything compatible with Skyrim Sewers 4. In any event, this mod is awesome and adds a lot of awesomeness to the game! Thank you and ENDORSED!
To be honest, I'd never really paid attention to those manholes, but when I happened to see this mod, I immediately checked it out. That was a good decision. Really neat retexture.
Funny thing I noticed: my Whiterun now has wolves in the streets, because of Skyrim Sewers.
Windhelm has them too, though, which I suppose could be a prank played on Ulfric: he wanted bears, but got wolves instead. Perhaps whoever made them was from Solitude and not too fond of Ulfric. And Markarth... hmm, maybe they couldn't come up with any ideas, and decided to just copy Solitude.
I love your work. When I get in a fight with my wife, however, from now on instead of "being in the dog house" it shall forever be known as spending time in the Manhole of Solitude. Will download and endorse!
I think we need a new tag line, and a store dedicated for all the Manholes in Skyrim, to replace them if the Thieves Guild steal it and leaves us with a falling possibility. Oh, and bored from one of them. Thank you for all the resolution possibilities.

If gamers REALLY want to be lore friendly, we need a retexture of the ground that shows all the crap stains saturating the soil.

Working away again at the moment, so I can't try it out until weekend.
All the best.
