These textures are rich, beautiful and magnificent. They truly represent the glory of a lost race with the most advanced technology in all of Tamriel. Im surprised that these dwemer textures aren't as popular as they ought to be; they certainly outperform vanilla textures and your closest competitor is a mod that bleaches Markarth with uniform white marble. The intricate detail just gives me a reason to revisit each Dwemer ruin in the game and do some sightseeing. All in all, great mod. Keep up the good work and maybe I'll have the chance to endorse retextured Nordic Ruins and Windhelm as well.
The new retexture is great, but I can't give up the White City stone textures for Markarth/Dwemer ruins, I'm too attached. A compatible version just adding the new gold and other bits to overwrite the White City, not touching the stone, would really make my day. Or a similar version here, with the stone lightened. Great work, endorsed even if I can't use it presently
Edit: If you actually look into these files, they only conflict in about 30 places (out of a lot more). The White City has WAY more files to it than this mod, and this mod changes some things it doesn't touch... So on a whim I just copy/pasted all the .dds files from here, let them overwrite the White City textures where they conflict, and I ended up with a decent mash-up automatically, without even having to guess which file was which. Then to further "whiten" the interiors I did it again but deleted some .dds files with "stone" in the name, just guessing, from this one's dwemer ruins folder. In the end it took about 10 minutes with testing and I like it better than either one alone. If anyone else likes them both, it's super easy and worth trying.
could this affect loading and fps in the area around Markarth? It seems like everytime I try to enter markarth the game freezes to the point that I can not play, and have to use task manager to exit the game.
