The aim of this mod is to re-texture the Steel crossbow, giving it a nicer more realistic look.

This is basically an upgrade of an earlier crossbow texture mod I did http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52818/? . This one is different in that it offers not just a wood and bone crossbow re-texture, but also a "plain" version, and has more detail over all, as the wood texture, bowstring, and normal maps, have all been redone. It also offers an optional mesh which allows for cube maps to be displayed on the steel parts making them shine a bit more like metal.. or at least that was the goal.
The same "permission notes" apply to this mod as the earlier version.
