Dear friends, in this day (March 12, 2016) I leaving nexus site as this member. Well, I write many things that I don't mean serious now, because I was young and stupid. I thank all of you for your endorsements, downloads, views and posts. I don't saying I leave nexus forever, one day I will return for sure, but as new member with clean shield.
I've been using these tome retextures for 2 or 3 of my last playthroughs, and I associate them with the way I want my Skyrim to look. It's these sort of "small" improvements that make Skyrim great. Thank you for your effort.
edwarr what programes did you use to make this mod. i am really interest of making books different then the vanilla version. I am making spells to make it uniquely different eben though i am using there vanilla version but i need a book that is completelly different texture and mesh but not change the symbol. just to keep the mod lore friendly for skyrim. any thougbts of what progeam you use for your mods.
Hey you didn't have anything in the permissions section so I though I might ask in case you're still around.
Can I upload a recolored version? I haven't made anything yet but am going to make a recolored version for my personal use. I'd rather share it with others too, if you give permission.
looks like some old grimoires spell, occult books made from animal/human skin. more distinctive and real, perhaps adding some worn damage to the covers would give them more character? thanks
To be honest, when I first saw the thumbnail, I was a bit dismissive because I love the unrealistically colourful covers of spell books. But I clicked on it anyway, and I have to say, I was a bit stunned at how gorgeous the textures are. I probably won't use this mod regardless (still fond of my colour), but I wanted to let you know that these are just beautiful and you should be proud of them.

Thank you again.
NifSkope - for mesh (not modeling, just editing some data)
Blender - for symbols
PhotoShop - for textures
Njob - for normals
But for symbols you can use any vector program, for example Inkscape (opensource).
I hope it helps.

I hope you like them but I understand if you don't, since you prefer them all to be the same color.
Thanks for giving permission.
Maybe, someday I return to Skyrim.

edit: maybe a burnt layer with darker logo signs.
