Looks like I'm a bit too dumb for this. I installed: - Plants Optional (from the russian site) - Ruffled Feather version (from the files section here)
Didn't work. What did I miss? Am I supposed to install WATER + DLC? Do I need to install Waterplants Textures? I thought It was either it or the ruffled version.
Some are stuck with that at first. I had no idea coming in. I came fresh from PS4, drooling over the PC version for years. Waaay before these young-ins came with their shameless begging. I had to finally get away, thinking I was getting the coveted "Red Ryder BB Gun" for myself, so to speak... And finding it was just a very beautiful box.
(I got a bit carried away with my Christmas Story metaphor... Lol sry)
Downloaded this mod a while ago and no water plants are appearing. Is there something more I need to do? Another mod required to make this one work? A different load order?

Like i said the STEP team f'd it up. The original ruffled feathers is a standalone mod with its own page. And contains water plants with harvestable water lillies,frogs and frog eggs! The mod also contains the original WATER mod and better dynamic snow and lot's of other features like terrain bump, argonian access(secret riften access),fantasy glacier textures,3d fence and many more! Now it's gone to shit..

You could also use CACO (Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul), fantastic mod with new waterplants, frogs, eggs, lilies and more food and ingredients.
