Note: this is simply a more balanced (and bug fixed) version of the awesome Shield Slam mod by elysees. I take no credit for this mod and I highly suggest you head over to elysee's page to thank him (or her!) if you enjoy this mod.
What does it do?
This mod adds a knockback effect to the nearly useless Power Bash perk. This effect is applied to whichever enemy you are aiming at. Unlike the original mod, you are only able to knock back one target at a time, and the effect can only be triggered once every 10-30 seconds, depending on which version you choose to install. I'll upload even longer cooldown versions if someone feels that 30 is still overpowered.
How do I use it?
Just grab the Power Bash perk and then proceed to power bash some poor son of a skeever in the face.
Note on aiming: if you are aiming high above or far to the side of the target, the effect will not trigger, even if the bash itself hits. Make sure the target you wish to hit is in, or relatively close to your crosshair.
Anything else?
You can use the "set shieldslamdamagerate to <value>" command in the console to change how much damage shield slam does. Default value is 1.0, 2.0 means twice as much damage etc.
Installation/Removal
Install with NMM/your favorite mod manager, or just extract the contents to your skyrim\data folder. If you are uninstalling, I recommend opening up the console and typing in "set ShieldSlamSet to 0" and then saving your game before removing the mod. This will stop the mod's script in its tracks.
