What's making the imperial soldier's armor blue?

Perfect Legionnaire perhaps? There is an optional download for that mod that changes the colour of Imperial armour to either red or blue.

This mod works with the red paint version. Just load this mod after The Imperial Legion shield mod and any updates to the original Imperial Legion Shield mod. Hope this helps!

Thanks for doing Dual Sheath Redux patch work on your own, but there are many notable quality control issues with this patch that prevent me from linking to it:

    • meshes\armor\imperialshield\shield.nif has no reason to be there. Do not package unmodified meshes from the original mod into your packs, as that is sloppy and increases your file size unnecessarily. It may also cause issues if the mod is updated, but the patch hasn't been yet, since meshes from the new verison will be overwritten by older ones.
    • Please make sure you callibrated the OnBackClk mesh so that it looks right on a 1.0 weight male wearing a Winter is Coming cloak. That is what the OnBackClk meshes are calibrated to, and I suggest you do the same for this shield.

I will link the patch on the DSR mod page if that is done.

thanks for the info. will make the changes. couldnt tell form the tutorial on the page whether the shield.nif was still in the package or not. im guessing its only there in the pics because the tutorial is designed for personal use.
