Sorry that the updates for this mod have been absent lately. This mod is basically finished though, only the Loot and Merchants Arrows tweaks patches need to be completed. So if you don't use the +100% option I suggest you don't use both of those ABT tweaks with IW, Scarcity mod found here is a good alternative if you want to find scarce loot. It is compatible with all item adding mods such as IW, as long as you create a bashed patch of course. ( Read instructions when installing! )

-Development for this mod has stopped as I currently don't have Skyrim installed on my computer, and I am no longer playing it. I can't continue supporting this mod, if anybody is interested in continuing the development just let me know.

V2.0 Progress: Currently in the making, Beta stage

-Be sure to look at the change log for all the latest updates.
-Look at the #4 Future Plans section in the description page for information on the plans for this mod.

(For a more detailed explanation of each one of the original ABT tweaks look at the ABT mod description page by Kevkas, what I'm specially explaining below is what my patches specifically do.)

Faster Arrows Improved Patch Explanation: (Progress: Complete)

-What Faster Arrows Improved does is increase arrow speed by one of the five percentage options given
(+10%, +25%, +50%, +75% and +100%) and it also reduces the projectile gravity value to 0.20 for a more realistic arrow trajectory.

-What this patch does is pass on these changes to IW arrows through Immersive Weapons.esp I would have edited the actual Faster Arrows Improved plugins but Kevkas tutorial suggested otherwise. So if you don't use this patch only vanilla arrows will have the Faster Arrows Improved tweak changes, and IW arrows will be left slower and more affected by gravity so anybody using these arrows will be at a disadvantage.

Loot Arrows Patch Explanation (Updated Info): (Progress: Incomplete)

-What Loot Arrows does is to distribute all arrows around the world anywhere that's lootable by the player (e.g. enemy and friendly npcs/their dead lootable bodies, chests, other containers etc.) according to your preference which goes from hardcore version to +100% version of the "Loot Arrows" Tweak.

-What this patch does is to include all IW arrows into the mix, without this patch if you use the original Loot Arrows.esp from ABT you won't see IW arrows distributed correctly in the world if distributed at all, thus making the original loot arrows tweak incompatible with IW (This is what will happen if Loot Arrows.esp is placed below IW.esp). Depending on where you place Loot Arrows.esp and IW.esp the esp on the bottom will take preference and nullify/overwrite the changes of the other. So now with this patch you should find IW arrows to loot according to the level of your character so if you're level 1 you probably won't see any of the IW arrows, they'll start appearing once you are able to loot elven arrows. What you'll notice is that IW arrows can now be found in containers such as chests, on dead enemies, and anywhere else you can find loot.

Note: Only affects the quantity of loot that can be found, does not affect what enemies use against you.

Merchants Arrows Patch Explanation: (Progress: Incomplete)

-The name should pretty much give you the idea of what this tweak does. Same concept as Loot Arrows but instead this tweak is for the arrow distribution in merchant's inventories.

-What this patch does is basically the same as the loot arrows patch, but instead it applies to merchants inventories duh... So you should find fancy IW arrows to buy, according to your level of course. Once blacksmiths start selling you elven arrows you'll start seeing the fancy IW arrows!

Increased Progressive Damage Patch Explanation: (Progress: Complete)

-All arrows' damage and price values are set to be progressive so no more two arrows that are the same, and there are the option to increase damage by 50%, 100%, and 150%. Look at ABT description page for more details.

-What this patch does is to apply the progressive and increased damage changes to the IW Arrows damage and price values. Now IW arrows will have increased damage just like the vanilla arrows if you chose that option, and the damages and values will be progressive.

-The (BS and CCO) version of this tweak affects the Skyforge Steel Arrow, and changes the vanilla arrows' names to Better Sorting format (e.g. Arrow - Dragonbone). Now this version of the patch changes the IW arrows' names to Better Sorting format as well (e.g. Arrow - Dragonsteel). Note: In the future I plan to make both CCO only and BS only separate patch versions.

-When using several mods that edit leveled lists, I highly recommend you use Wrye Bash to make a bashed patch. This will ensure compatibility between these mods by merging the leveled lists, without a bashed patch the leveled lists will overwrite each other causing most mod added items to not be distributed throughout the world. (Look at the Installation section in the description page for more info.)

-I will gladly answer your questions if you have any.

-Development for this mod has stopped as I currently don't have Skyrim installed on my computer, and I am no longer playing it. I can't continue supporting this mod, if anybody is interested in continuing the development just let me know.

This Patch contains the Immersive Weapons.esp file as well. MO noticed this. I haven't necessarily had any issues yet, but having conflicting ESPs is not necessarily a good thing. Do you recommend we delete the .esp file in this patch and just keep the IW-EBT.esp file instead?

I installed the CBC patch, but noticed that the master file for the patch had an LL at the end. I'm not using the CBC leveled list version, will it cause problems?

Oh wow I didn't see that happening, so sorry about that. The leveled list version is the master because that's the plugin I used to make the patch. So it should not work with the non leveled list version, even though the description said otherwise, my mistake for not realizing this.

Cheers for the patch! I'm so excited to have faster IW arrows to shoot! I do have a concern though. When installing this patch if I select the vanilla only non-increased progressive damage option the plug-in shows up as "ABT - Progressive Damage (BS and CCO).esp" leaving the original "ABT - Progressive Damage (Vanilla).esp" so I'm a bit concerned about that... Should I be?

Edit: I played on a little while longer to test and got CTD. Decided I would just use the 50% increase version on both ABT and the patch and everything is working fine now. Count this one as another "just letting y'all know" and another endorsement! Cheers!

Some of the vanilla plugins for ABT are not supported, sorry about that. The CTD must be due to a missing master file.

I'm sorry man but that would require either remaking or completely re-tweaking the already existing patches, and that would be a lot of work for me considering that the development for this mod is currently on a standstill.

When I come back to finish the mod I will have to focus on the patches that still need finishing, so I really won't have time to comply with your request. I recommend getting the full game so you don't miss out on all the great DLC content .

    In the Description you say

(MO is not very good at showing images in a FOMOD installer thus making images with small text very hard to read, in comparison NMM makes it much easier to read images that contain small text, as they look very clear and don't get disproportionately resized unlike with MO. NMM and MO are both great mod managers though! So choose wisely...)

Well all I can say is that's never been raised as a reason not to use MO, as it shows the images perfectly Fine, the FoMod Installer is always resizable in MO, if you want a bigger picture. If you are uncertain if the Proportions are correct, simply Click on Manual. Find the Pics, nearly Always in the FoMod folder and click open to view.
To be honest you can't even blame MO for Text in FoMod Images being hard to read, the FoMod's provide a Text Box for written information, so making image text, is simply making a poor quality FoMod.

MO doesn't make the FoMods and allows you to resize them and view the pictures at full zoom on the fly, it even allows you to reduce the text and/or choice panel sizes to make picture even bigger, upto the size of your monitor.
MO allows easy access the original images from within MO and opens them in your default Image program.

It's a long time since I used NMM , but if it's still the same, the FoMod cannot be resized at all. In my book the main difference is you are in control with MO, NMM is in charge of you, it decides and you have no choice.

You can chooise whatever you wish, but find something you like in NMM instead of dislike in MO, blaming MO for 3rd Party FoMods, when it simply gives you full control of size and shape with easy access to the original as well, isn't being fair to Tannin, the only author of MO, he is a one person and works full time. MO is by far the best Skyrim Manager, competing against the professionals of NMM and the Wrye Bash Team established since Morrowind. Yet he beats them both on every Skyrim focused aspect. It's not a coincidence that NMM is chasing profiles. They may eventually do it, but from the little I've seen they are still moving files into the data folder, so slow as hell to switch

I consider NMM a jack of all games and master of none (Well jack of a handful in reality), MO is the Master of Skyrim and also good with older TES/Fallout games.
When Steam Workshop appeared, Nexus Mods panicked and tried to becaome just like the Workshop, Skyrim Developement stopped completely and never restarted, other games became the priority.
Wrye Smash (Skyrim's Wrye Bash) also ceased to exist and the Wrye Team went against Wrye's successful model, of one version per game, in favour of grand unification. Skyrim developement again stopped. Only MO carried on developing as a manager for Skyrim first and foremost.

The Fact that Wrye made such a great Manager carried WB for about 18 months, but Skyrim modding suffered. Bashed Patches do many things for other games, but Levelled Lists is still main use in Skyrim.
NMM was a port of FoMM (Fallout Mod Manager), that still does more for Skyrim than NMM. However the Nexus Mods Domination gives NMM an advantage like Internet Explorer had wih Windows XP.
It appears on every Mod Page including WB's and MO's, if they cost money to use, it would be called an unfair monopoly.

Choose your manager because of what it does, not what another one doesn't do. Choose NMM if that's your preference. Itys's not a good maner for skyrim, but it's not a bad one either, Vanilla Manager/Steam Workshop is what a bad manager is like.

Side Note: Manually installing FoMod's with MO is actually a good way to save on SSD space with stable mods and multiple-profiles, with FoMod's by default, already packed almost perfectly as Individual MO Mods. Just moving plugins into separate Mods is often all that's needed.
A little sensible renaming and you've got a MO multi-choice Mod with each profile able to choose different options. Rather than installing the same Mod Again to choose another setup. Stable Mods, rarely Updated can save a lot of SSD space this way.
    • Bullet Choice = Alt- = choose just one
    • Tick Box Choice = Opt- = Choose what you want
    • Files = Assets
    • ESM's and/or ESP's = Plugin(s)
    • Required = Core (Often named this in the FoMod)
    • Not Required = Option
    Name becomes something like this;
    {Mod Name} - {Choice Type}{Possibly Number if FoMod has none} {FoMod's Internal Folder Name}{FoMod's Sub Folder Name if Needed}

First off ABT is mostly incompatible with SkyRe, as SkyRe completely overhauls the archery system so no. Read ABT's description page it talks about SkyRe.

I'm loading ABT AFTER SkyRe and I have without bugs for quite a while, I just want to know that because of the naming of the arrows for example, but I found a solution (havent tested it yet but I will).

Well as Kevkas stated, ABT and SkyRe change very similar aspects of archery. So one can't really be made fully compatible with the other, SkyRe makes big changes and ABT makes subtle changes. But as for the arrow names you can easily change them with the creation kit according to your preference.

Thank you for the feedback and support Cityweasel, I'm glad to see that my mod is working great for you. The mod may be on its beta stage because it has two types of patches that aren't finished yet, but I've made sure that everything is working like it's suppose to. All these patches were made very carefully, I always double checked to make sure no wrong edits were made.

I'll get back to finishing this mod, when I finish working on a new project that I'm currently part of. I've been creating new textures, scripting, etc. so it's a big project that will take some time. But I'm glad that I've left this mod almost complete, with a few extra patches on the side even.

This is really wery nice and much needed patch , i have read in the description that you take requests for other patches , i already tryed making thread in forums , ill try here again , maybe there is possibility that you would make patches for Basic crossbow collection & Elemental Arrows mods , those 2 are really great mods and it would be awesome to use them , for now choices for arrow/bow/crossbow mods are very limited due to The way ABT works , i hope you read the message , again nice work going to endorse as soon as i get home

I second this. CBC is the best Crossbow mod out there and it adds new kinds of bolts. I've been wanting to try Elemental Arrows for some time, I've even downloaded it, but the only reason I haven't tried it yet is because it's not compatible with ABT.

Yeah give me at most a week and I'll have the faster arrows improved patches for CBC and Elemental Arrows ready, but I might need permission from the authors to use their files in order to prevent any trouble. If you guys could ask for me and get permission from the authors in advance that would save me some time.

Perfect thank you, let me know what they say. And if one of the authors is not active then I will make a separate .esp dependent on his/her file, rather than modify the author's file itself.

But separate patches are less practical due to taking up more space, more prone to breaking, and are sometimes not sorted correctly by LOOT.

Well my free time to work on mods is quite limited, but I could possibly make patches for the faster arrows improved tweak since that shouldn't take too long. I'm not really familiar with those mods, so what do you see that needs patching in these two mods?
    2. Atchodas

Basicly only the Arrows/Bolts speed is the issue that hits your eye every time , i dont really think Merchant arrows , loot arrows and such are important for the projectiles that are added by other mods cuz they are usualy craftable and are supposed to be rare same goes for progressive damage tweak it is not needed for thease two mods because Elemental Arrows does damage trough enchanted effects and BCC makes bolts damage progressive anyway, so id say that Minor patches to adjust speed and gravity of Elemental Arrows and Basic Crossbow Collection bolts would be perfect , sry for late reply was off for the weekend .

Edit : to say more Elemental Arrows has like 20 different arrows with enchanted effects added to the game tho they really seems crippled when using with ABT without a patch because they dont fly properly , and Basic Crossbow Collection just simply adds a crossbow and a bolt for every vanilla crafting section ( Elven , Daedric , Glass etc ) .

Thank you for even considering doing this
