I wanted to use this mod so badly. Loved seeing the beavers but....hated that the animals are hostile. The moose always turn aggressive. It also causes my follower husky Garm to turn hostile. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks for all the hard work.

Um... Aggressive Moose... That's a given and I think it's pretty accurate since the Moose is the "Most" Dangerous animal in North America and will charge as soon as look at you. Also they happen to be extremely territorial as are herds of elk if they have calves, but they will whistle and generally vocalize before charging (this comes from personal experience as a hunter in real life).

As for Garm being hostile, Make sure that his .esp is loaded before (e.g. lower in your load order) Wildlife_Overhaul.esp hopefully that will fix the issue. If not feel free to shoot me a message, and I'll take a look at it for you.

Come to Maine, where moose typically come into downtown Portland, and wander around Deering Oaks Park, and even the parking lor of Maine Medical Center, and have never once attacked anyone. Quite the oppostie, they run if approached.

I love your mod, especially the raccoon. it's just so damn cute. I was wondering if you would be willing to make a raccoon follower that can also carry stuff and be a pet? 100 kudos if you can somehow make it ride on your shoulder while walking or riding a horse.

AWESOME MOD, very lore-friendly, but it adds potentially game-breaking loot.... for example, with Lynx and Mountain lions and other new predators we have SEVERAL varieties of Eyes, Teeth, etc. They differ by name, but as an alchemy experimenter will soon find out, they all have the same properties! Which means you have almost infinite supply of ingredients, which, when mixed, produce potions of 4 simultaneous different effects! If you still aren't following me, these potions are EXPENSIVE. By mixing 2 teeth, say, Mountain Lion's tooth and Lynx tooth, you get a potion which has a value of over a 1000 gold. Which means you can probably sell it for 500. See what I mean? Unlimited HEAPS AND PILES OF GOLD! Very immersion breaking for me. Devalues gold and treasure hunting A LOT. Sorry for caps-locking. Just wanted to stress some points. Dear author, could you fix it? Give similar loot *different* properties, or, even better, remove it altogether (leave just pelts).

this is nearly impossible to do because we need animations, meshes, textures, and sounds. i do not have people that are willing to do these. i cannot model or texture or make animations. i can only use the creation kit. but yes snakes would be amazing to have.

Awesome mod! Any chance you will add frogs? I'm dying for some frogs in Skyrim on the ponds and in rivers.

I think you ought to give more obvious credit to 530gothic25's Skyrim Wildlife Overhaul (presumably the same person as gothic2392 of Skyrim Wildlife Overhaul, over at the Steam Workshop) He/she made the animals. The reference to their work is pretty much buried, and I don't think that's right, considering the amount of work and thought they put in their mod. Your mod is largely a copy of their's, except for the unspecified "tweaks" to vanilla animals....In the comments, you seem happy to take credit for the animals models and textures that you didn't make. I also did not see anywhere in either Skyrim Wildlife Overhaul's description that it was OK to freely use their mod as a resource.

I believe you should rename the Caribou. Caribou are of Canada, and Skyrim is not all likened to Canada. Skyrim is blatantly based around Scandinavia, and in Scandinavia, there are Roe Deer and Elk, so either of the two would make a bit more sense. But If you disagree, that's cool.

these are not the deer that bethesda made they are in fact caribou and not elk google pictures of these and you will see the difference.

Really cool mod. If possible, wolverines in the snowing places would be beyond awesome. Especially if I could have a pet one

Your mod is great. But now in my game the vanilla bears are invisible.

Same problem, plus Land Hook's or something popping up constantly. Mini wisp mothers that vanish when looked at or approached, had to use TFC 1 to actually get a good look + The console to find out what they were. It's a real shame, this is a great mod but the invisible attack bears kill it for me.

i read something about USKP helping to cause the invisi-bears.

nevermind, that didn't help. i looked in tes5edit but sadly i'm not skilled in it so not sure what i'm looking at. the formid for my invisi-bears is 00023a8a. i think there's may be a problem with it in the Non Player Character section of the esp. i may try and just delete the black bear part. or maybe unpack the bsa and remove the bear meshes? damn shame, as i wanted to use this instead of Animallica because i liked the handplaced critters in this. i also have lotsa fauna so thought this'd be better for me as Animallica seems to have more critters than i want.
but can't abide by invis-bears so guess i'll use animallica instead. shame

EDIT: well damn. if ya put this BELOW Skytest then i get my bears visible again.
i had this above Skytest so it wouldn't interfere w/ skytest AI. i don't care if skytest AI works on these critters but i just didn't want this mod messing w/ skyest AI.
i just hope this doesn't stop skytest ai. can we get a compat patch please?!

      a long time follow up.
having this below Skytest does completely break Skytest AI. above skytest gets skytest ai, but then u get invis-bear. i've tried changing races in tesedit, unpacking bsas. also tried the "fixes" for invisbears. nothing has helped
