For those interested in the Special Edition version of the mod, I have ported it here: Difficult Archery - SSE Port

Lol! The archer that shoots the escaping prisoner during the opening scene just shot the horse standing next to her.

Just came across this mod and straight up laughed out loud on the train when I read your comment. Thank you!

Would be cool to see a mod where the enemies accuracy was based on there archery =D

I confirm "Auto Aim" and "No Auto aim" versions are switched.
    Choose wisely friends. :)

So gonna try this out as it sounds exactly like what I need. I hate my character looking like an annoyed pin cushion after every fight with archers. because their inhuman levels of accuracy make everyone doing archery at the Olympics look blind and clumsy in comparison and well your average bandit should have trouble hitting you from 6feet away since in real life many people who have even used a bow will miss a target from rather close.

Essential mod, every npc is Lars Andersen without it.

OMG! You had the files switched! I was wondering why the non-auto-aim version has auto-aim in it when I checked it on Tes5edit. So I removed those values and now my arrows stopped shooting wildly left and right.

Is this true? Will selecting the auto aim on version, turn it off?

This is true. The default version turns auto aim ON. I didn't check to see if the "auto aim enabled version" is right or not, but the main file that's supposed to have aim off has it on. I fixed mine in xEdit.

Tried all versions in multiple different load order iterations but it does literally nothing if you have Realistic Archery, Nock to Tip and Combat Evolved installed. Somehow clashes with one of those (even if loaded below them) and archers remain pin-point accurate even with the 4th (least accurate) version of this mod.

Try with SkyTweak. Shitload of features, including how accurate the NPCs are with bows. Can also remove the magic side step evade.
Tune the other mods, tune Skytweak, save your settings in XML file, profit on every new character.
