The info above will need to be updated however I am terrible with PR and the editor for the mainpage is quite aweful so I made some changes but its way too busy for whats going on for me to make any meaningful edits.
      Sorry umi

I should've broke this off as my own mod... Well too late for that... Maybe

Those patches that are present on the older version of the mod aren't anymore on the newest version, what does it mean exactly? These patches aren't supported anymore, or aren't necessary?

Also, the latest version asks Falskaar and Wyrmstooth, but why?

Well, it looks like no one has asked in at least the past 12 months, so I will:

Will this be seeing a port over to Special Edition, now that SKSE64 and at least the three base mods (VW, AOS2, SOS) appear to be up and stable?

OK this sounds awesome but I am now little confused when i am installing..:

When I use the newest version of this patch, which I wanna use. Does it contain the patches for CRF and RW2 and can It be used with ELFX like the older versions of this patch?? Or do I have to let go of those other mods for because of this patch?? Which I dont wanna do.

I would love to use this, is it really so that Falskaar and Wyrmstooth are optional/can be easily removed as masters? I know my way around TES5Edit. I'm just not planning to use any new lands mods except the official DLC in this setup.

Okay so the detailed guide is a lot easier, but I'm still having trouble with the last bit. This part:

    "11. FINAL
Install Mitigate HDR Eye Adaptation and disable Bloom. Involves simple use of TES5Edit. In brief:
Install the IShdr1bloom0_all.esp as normal AND the IShdr1bloom0_patch scripts in the Edit Scripts folder.
Load up your load order in TES5Edit, select relevant mods (or just all of them) and run the IShdr1bloom0_patch script.
'Deep copy as override' the imagespaces from IShdr1bloom0_all to ClimatesofTamriel.esm.
More details can be found here.
Use TES5Edit to patch Real Shelter after adding mods that affect weather (including WAO itself)."

Where is the Edit Scripts folder and what EXACTLY do I put in there?

How do I use TES5Edit to patch Real Shelter?

I have no idea how to do this stuff and I've actually used TES5Edit before. So if someone could explain, that would be great.

Okay I figured out the first bit - or rather, I followed the links and did what I was told. lol

I'm still confused by the last line, "Use TES5Edit to patch Real Shelter after adding mods that affect weather (including WAO itself)."

Does that mean to apply the IShdr1bloom0_patch scripts to Real Shelter, or to patch everything else with RS' scripts? The list told us specifically to download the RS scripts, so I'm assuming the latter. But I'd rather make sure.

Hold it, the detailed guide just looks better, in fact if you dig into this thread you'll see CoT is in fact not really supported anymore, and also for AOS, see that although it mentions specific compatibility patches that you DON'T need to install and all others he says to install, lower in the redundancy list you can deduce that AOS-SoS compatibility should not be installed as well. Beyond that ELFX is listed as compatible in the detailed guide, but only ELE is still supported through the patch, you need to do some editing in TES5Edit, not complicated, but you must nonetheless, look it up in this thread. There are a couple of additional smaller things, in general don't use the guides or the sticky without digging into the thread.

This was once a GREAT idea, I suppose, but as of the date of my post the guides are an interesting historical document

p.s. things like ELFX+AOS+IMC+VIVID+RWT work together with their own patches, haven't tried others, so of mods mentioned in WAO title, SoS is the only one that requires "3rd party" patches to work with the other <title> mods. Just a thought if you're understandably confused by WAO guides.

Despite what someone else has said, the description for how to install everything on the mod page is NOT easy to understand. In fact it directly contradicts itself multiple times. It says to install Vivid Weathers twice, it says RLO is incompatible and then says it is with the "RLO Edition" which isn't listed anywhere. This is extremely frustrating.

The detailed guide seems a lot better so far.

"Wow, many people say good thing about this mod, I wonder why it's not well known." Download mod : +400 000 Mo...
Need Falskaar +400 000 Mo too...
"Oh, I get it now. Maybe only a few people besides Google or Blizzard have computers powerful enough to use so much space just for that."

      Wait, what? XD

Falskaar is definitely optional! That being said; WAO is way overdue for a rebuild, unless you use Hishy's setup, which isn't nearly as complex as my old one used to be, IIRC.

I was just wondering how to install this with Vividian Enb because in the Vividian Enb installer it asks which weather mod you are using. Should I just select Vivid Weathers or something else?

You need to create a compatibility patch if using two weather mods together. Not suggested. Select Vivid Weathers, make sure the Vivid Weathers.esp is higher in the load order and overwrites this mod.

Quick question, I followed your description as well as went over the extended installation article and while everything was straight forward and easy to understand, one thing left me a tad bit confused.

    - When Installing compatibility patches during AOS installation, other than the ones stated not to be activated during install, do I activate them all as normal, followed by installing WAO and then after WAO is installed I disable them all due to them being redundant correct, only leaving AOS itself activated in my load order?

Other than that, can't wait to try out the mod!

I'm terribly sorry that I didn't reply to this sooner! You have the right of it though; if using my older version of WAO, as compared to Hishy's branch that uses VW, you would enable the appropriate patches that aren't mentioned in the install instructions.
