I wish this would work with maces and hand axes for my Goody-Two-Shoes Paladin who cannot learn Sneak skills.

I suppose she could carry an Ebony Warhammer around with her. She has a Bag of Holding.

    Cheers!

Well, sorry. My first rodeo, I might have packaged the files wrong or something. You have installed the .bsa file and told Skyrim to load it in Data Files, right?

Another possibility -- the script works on a timer that fires every five seconds, finding the closest locked thing to the player. Try waiting five or so seconds before hitting the door/container and let me know if that helps.

Otherwise, let me know which locks you're trying and I'll try them on my end to see if I can figure this out.

*sigh* I swear I tripled-checked everything, but the archive produced by Creation Kit totally didn't work. I just uploaded a new file that worked on a fresh install. Please try that instead, sorry for the inconvenience, and THANK YOU for reporting the issue.

*Smash* Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeres Jony! From the movie Psycho (Not sure on actual name) but you get the idea. If you've seen the movie Twister, its playing on the big screen before the tornado hits.

wait, does this mod run a script every time you swing a two handed weapon (with a 5 second cooldown)?

I could not agree more. By the way, could you make a variant where also the onehanded weapons work? (and maybe indipendently of their material) That would be even greater.

This is a great mod, but it really needs the satisfying bash sound and sparks that happens when you hit Dwemer automations.

I wonder if this could be combined with hunter traps and runes to lure enemies to their doom.

Perfect addon for the Hunterborn Mod I think.

One suggestion: use "RegisterForSingleUpdate()" instead of "RegisterForUpdate()". (see the "Important Warning" in http://www.creationkit.com/RegisterForUpdate_-_Form) Cheers!

This is a great idea, I've tried bashing open a few locked chests (with Dawnguard Warhammer) but it doesn't appear to be working. I installed this mod with NMM.

You made a nice one here... but even if you mention "certain spell in vainilla...", you make no other mention in the description, so:
Do you refer specifically to Bound Axe (the one that conjures a big badass Daedric two handed axe)?
If you do, in which category does it fall? I assume in the Master Lock category (since it's a Daedric weapon), but then again, you only need to be an Adept in Conjuration in order to have access to that spell...

[EDIT] Also, you don't make any mention to Orcish, Dragon, Falmer and other material weapons... Does your mod work with them or do you need to use only the materials in the description?
    Thanks for the effort.

It's the gold value of the weapons that determines which locks they can open. The author did this to allow for modded hammers and axes to be used also. So say you have a weapon mod which gives you a warhammer of equal gold value to iron. It may have 1000 damage but it will still only be able to open novice locks whereas if the hammer had a gold value of 1600 it would be able to open any lock you could pick. As it says in the description, no weapon can open a lock which can only be opened by a key so as not to break quests. The bound weapons are seperate items to the Daedric weapons and have no gold value so they can't open any lock. If you're RPing, just imagine it's because they're not physical items, instead being items partially transferred from Oblivion to Nirn, and so they just pass through the lock without impacting it. I'd assume the author was referring to muffle as that reduces sound so it may make the impact quieter so that guards don't notice it at all/as easily. Orcish and Skyforge steel has a gold value between steel and Dwemer and so would only be able to open up to apprentice locks, Dragon has the highest value and would open all locks, Falmer doesn't have any two handed weapons so they wouldn't be able to open any locks anyway, stalhrim is between ebony and Daedric so can open all locks, glass and Nordic are greater than Elven so could open up to expert, Nord hero has a value equal to Dwemer and standard and honed ancient Nord are below iron and so can't open anything. You'll have to work it out yourself for your mods and the uniques.
